Great match. 4 stars. I LOVE me some technical wrestling. Very good storytelling and great wrestling. But people told me that it was one of the only good parts of KirbyMania, unfortunately.
Great match, nonetheless. Can't wait for ZSJ vs Banks and Rhodes vs Ricochet. This made me hyped for Lights Out.
The show wasn't bad. Ligero/Kirby v Prospect was entertaining af, Ivelisse v Austin was fine up until the finish, I liked the 6-man tag (even if I DESPISE Scotty Wayneright) and Scurll v Kidd wasn't horrible (except Scurll should have won dirty). The only really BAD things were how they treated Banks as well as the awful blow-off to Hendry v Conners

Tmat who? It was quiet at times but not completely dead. It was more people watching it, there would be a rest in the grapples and people would start cheering.

Thin body benefits his style of offense more but he does look very weak.
***** He is the best technical wrestler today (since Daniel Bryan retired), but his overall wrestling skills aren't that great. If you enjoy methodical technical wrestling (like I do) he is enjoyable to watch, but I can also see why so many people dislike him.

I attended a seminar ZSJ had a couple days ago. It was all about technical wrestling. Which is what this match displays. Technical wrestling is an art.

First time I've seen Zack Sabre Jr wrestle and while he reminds me of Brett Hart technical style he completely lacks the charisma in the ring. This match delivered something different but it was very boring. Zack Sabre Jr has potential but I feel he's a long way to go from being 'the best wrestler in the world today'.

I haven't seen many ZSJ matches, but with the 5 or so I have seen I will say this. His style is incredibly unique, but he irritates me. Every match he is in, he dominates. Whether he wins or loses 80% of the showcase is always on his end. His wrestling style feels selfish, to be honest. Not to mention he is absolute trash at selling. Amazing wrestler, just not my cup of tea

As Zach AJ said, thats probably the point, but I personally dont find his matches very engaging and as a result i get kinda pissed off that he makes everyone look shit like that.
To a certain extent it's upto the other person to be able to keep up & get out of holds. I know it's a work & there should be some give & take, but the other guy should know how to counter

I could see Zach Sabre, Leyla Hirsch(look at the way she wrestle against David Starr. She know LEGIT freestyle wrestling ie catch without submission and pro wrestling submission), Kurt Angle, Chad Gable, etc in a legit catch match. Like the KING OF CATCH(sponsored by scientific wrestling started by Jake Shannon a disciple of CATCH MASTER BILLY ROBINSON). The king of catch INVITES PRO WRESTLERS, Bjj pracitioniers(it was partly influenced by catch/pro wrestler Kimura, Maeda, and Eucyledes Hatem), and even freestyle wrestlers(it was catch without submission) to compete for "REAL".
Whether they could win a legit catch match or not it depends. I could see Leyla Hirsch winning a catch match. Look at Sakabura. He was able to go from pro wrestling to UFC to SUBMISSION grappling FOR REAL.

Dead crowd from the screened perspective, which really makes a match fall flat. But then ZSJ's style just doesn't illicit much energy or excitement either. None of his strikes really seemed to have much power behind them.

I leave you your Kenny Omega, I prefer my Sabre Jr. Really, watching his perfect moves gives me unbearable amounts of sheer pleasure, like the young Daniel Bryan. I don't know why, but his simplicity, the lack of a real gimmick, the fact that everything that matter is already in the moves, that strange names, storylines, props, are unnecessary, it just makes me think "this is what wrestling is supposed to be".
