    My husband convinced me to sign without alimony and I’m not working. He had always been a great provider and said he would continue to provide as needed so no maintenance needed. I signed. The decree actually said that I am working. Will anything change during court.

    If she works full time do I have to pay maintenance if we make same hourly

      Generally, no. Maintenance occurs most often when there's a large discrepancy in income.

    This is unfortunate. I understand and I agree that nobility of childcare is something worth being compensated for. My Situation is that I want to get divorced but believe I’ll be ran through the ringer. My wife is able to work and recently has. For a time she asked if she could go back to school. We agreed she could stop working and go to school while I made the earnings. Is that something the court will take into consideration or allowing the non working spouse not to work for a reason that benefits the non working isn’t a factor…

      Yes the courts will take that into consideration. Duration of marriage will affect the total amount you pay as well.
