- Classic Fiat 500 - I am reinstalling the door and door window and trim of my classic Fiat 500. I am showing exactly how I did it, and the troubles I had with the new trim and rubber seals and the sequence. Also, not shown in the video, I only realized that when all was done, that I forgot to install the rubber seal on the quarter window of the door. And it looks like I had to install that from the very beginning because there is a hole in the rubber for the swing pivot. I am not going to undo all my work, so I am just going to cut it where that hole is and stuff the rubber seal in. Now I now this for the next door. Great video, I like how you show the problems you came against, and I've done it and know it's very fiddly. I used a product called Tiger Seal (Upol) for sealing the rubber channels in, I applied it and wound the windows in position overnight to hold it. Then following day worked on the bottom half and wound the window down. It comes in black and worked a treat.

Hey, i have the same problem with the window glider. The metal tab is too long, it was causing me a troubles
Yes, I took the old one, removed the two staples and put the new rubber in from the new part. Sucks but what can you do. It works great though. Thanks for the comment. Let me know how your restoration goes. Thanks

Im also stuck with the door locks, when i push the lock with my thumb i doenst go for enough inside. To open that metal lip that open the door
@@dennisvanhees6884 I also had that problem, but this is easy, you have to make sure the inside door handle is all the way down otherwise like you say, you cannot push the door pin in
