Most in depth video I've seen! Great job! Just picked up my 05 wr and the oil in the frame thing was making me scratch my head compared to what I'm used to.
Great video!! Can't stress the over torquing precautions enough. First time I did mine i over torqued the oil hose block against the frame. So much that it deformed the aluminum block and resulted in a heavy leak. Make it just a little past hand tight as he said!

My wr250f in the book is says it takes 1.7 ltrs so thats what i put in and when i warm it up and test the dip stick it is double.. Does this spell trouble or it will sort itself out?
Help My WR250F 2003 does not have the oil filler on the bottom end ,i have only just got the bike so i am going to replace the oil,oil filter,air filter ,spark plug do i refill the bike from the top of the frame only???
i forgot to re-tighten the oil pressure bolt :( waiting on a new one cuz the old one fell out and sprayed all the fresh oil out all down my leg. hoping i didnt ruin the engine. this was a stupid accident of epic proportions. and it had to happen on a saturday night... GO FIGURE. /facepalm.

I use 1/4 drive to help not to over tighten
ak47jt, listen to it, look at the exhaust, look at the downpipe, does it have a powerbomb?
Do these steps work with a yz250f??
can someone please can tell me if is any diffrent between wr250f or yz250f with the way you change the oil ?

this is actually a wr250f a 4 stroke not a 2 stroke
