Ashley, it isn't "privilege" it is called you have worked your butt off for years building a social media following and your eBay business. Don't pander to people who try to make you feel bad for your hard work. Great Job! I hope 2023 is another great year.

I went to dinner to celebrate someone's birthday. A female real estate agent was there and I told her about my resale business. At the end of the night she said "Have fun with your business!" What a snob. She thinks that anyone who goes to thrift shops is akin to being homeless. I really enjoy this and the income is great! Not stopping anytime soon!
Agreed mostly, the 1 privilege she absolutely has is looks. Yes her hardwork and dedication are 90% of her success, but being a 9/10 "girl next door type" attractive woman ABSOLUTELY makes building any social media VASTLY easier
The reference to "privilege" is usually understood as socioeconomically. Some people don't have time to start an eBay store if they can barely afford to put food on the table and a roof over their head. It's important to understand that some people just do not have access to success so readily available as others. Some people just have more barriers to overcome.
I'm a small seller on eBay, but I have learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you for being transparent and honest. You are a joy to watch and I'll continue to do so.

I’m not an online reseller, but happened to find you just looking on UA-cam. You’re good at what you do and it’s fun watching you. Anyone who thinks your job is easy is clueless! I have a tiny antiques thing going and I know how much I put into that. I’ve always told my kids and grandchildren success is not an accident; it’s hard work!

I’m a fairly new subscriber. I sell on eBay, not clothing, but I enjoy your content. I’m 72 and do reselling part time to supplement my social security and know how hard what you do is. So, I’m so proud of what you have accomplished, proud of your honesty and transparency and great attitude. You deserve everything you’ve worked for and more.

I’m so happy for you. I’m coming from a poor background, and my husband has an eBay store and when he started, we had no idea what brand names were good ones, because we’d both only had cheap clothes growing up. I actually started watching your show to learn which names in clothing were good for reselling , I’m embarrassed to say, but my husband was a schoolteacher, and I was a cardiopulmonary therapist, but our lives have changed drastically over 16 years. Now, I’m disabled and my husband was an accountant with his MBA, but after I cared for my quadriplegic brother for a decade, I had to have 4 spinal fusions and a laminectomy, and my dear husband became my caregiver. We lost our home in Hurricane Ida and are struggling to recover. There’s been a lot of valleys! Your story is very touching and inspiring, and we are excited each time my husband gets a sale. I hope that you continue to enjoy your reselling business and thrive, and that you and your family continues to be blessed! Best wishes! PS.
