Jericho is such a show killer. He needs to understand that fans don't hate him because he's a heel, they hate him because he's over exposed and has elevated ZERO wrestlers during the 5 years of AEW.

They've done it with all their signings, to the point where even Mone is going for the fucking women's midcard belt instead of the real thing. Not only that but Tony gives them meaningless midcard belts so they're stuck in that heatless position for months and months because you can't beat them anytime soon. Joe had to just be like "I'm done with this midcard belt" and vacate it so he can go after the main one

Tony Khan has a really bad habit of putting injured wrestlers into angles. Kenny Omega may not be medically able to wrestle again until October, if he actually does need surgery. Why set the seeds for Omega vs Elite when you don't know when you can do it?
It's apparent that Mercedes is also not cleared, yet he made a big deal out of signing her. Smh.

it's quite obvious that Tony Khan does not see Swerve as a top guy and has no plans to book him as such. Swerve got beat down by NICK WAYNE.

And Tony is booking him like an afterthought transitional champion.
Making it more apparent that Tony only did it so Swerve would be the “first Black AEW champion”, not because he actually values what Swerve can bring as a Top guy or champ.
Then again, this is the same Tony Khan that keeps giving top angles after top angle to a mid-card silly comedy duo of the Cucamunga Kids.

Quit saying the ratings are down because of playoffs. If you do your homework the last 2 years around this same time against Playoffs AEW averaged over 850,000. Ratings started dropping before playoffs because the show sucks NO EXCUSES

AEW doesn’t have any entertaining talking segments, because they let a group of clowns push away their biggest star talker (Punk) , they ruined their best talker with silly buddy comedy segments (MJF), and they have neutered their other great talkers with incompetent schizophrenic booking (Samoa Joe, Ricky Starks, Eddie Kingston, Swerve Strickland).
The talent and potential is there, but it struggles to shine through among all of the muk.
Oh… but Tony Khan decides to keep giving mic and screen time to the bad acting, impossible-to-take-serious, overpushed, overpaid, and ridiculously underperforming Young Bucks… 🤦🏻♂️
