You are the man. This worked perfect on my 2016 camaro 2ss.
Hi Thanks for the tip. It worked for some caps but not all. As an improvement, I stuck a flat piece of duct tape onto the cap - and then the folded piece of tape on top of that. All caps replaced now. Steve
steve barfield , great improvement suggestion! It maximizes the contact areas. So tape over the cap, then put another tape with the fold!
this is by far the most ghetto way of doing it ... LOVE IT
haha, I was too lazy to jack up one side of my car, unscrew 5 nuts, take the wheel out, pop out the cap, then put the wheel back, torque the 5 nuts with the right force, and repeat. I know many maybe too impatient to do it, but it worked for me.
@@travelingtrex4897 its all good. i dont have to go buy stuff...everyone has duct tape and a plier.
Yes, that’s my goal. Use everyday object to accomplish the tasks. not all duct tapes are created equal, some stick more than other.
Thanks a lot !
With all due respect, I popped it out of my VW Golf GTI MK5 in seconds with a small flat head screwdriver
