I very much want to visit Japan again. The politeness and friendliness of people there is almost overwhelming. Everything works and functions, everyone is on time, and everything is so clean-you could eat off the airport toilet's floor. No kidding. I saw workers polishing the trashcans in the subway stations. Even they put a lot of pride into their work.

Rode the very same Shinkasen from Osaka to Kyoto. I was standing on the platform with my back to the tracks when my host firmly grasped my forearm as if to say "Don't step back". As Shinkasen through-train flew past nearly silent and sooooo fast even at the reduced speed through the terminal. Lots of good food/snack places to pick up dinner and take with as they served only refreshments on the train. The terminal and trains were spotless and everything shined. I was awestruck as a Japanese businessman purchased a can of Coke from a vending machine and stood right there by the machine, drinking until finished and throwing the can in the trash rather than walking around with the drink as we Americans do. Very memorable moments tolling past Mt. Fuji as the sun was setting. The train was like flying first class, so smooth and quiet you hardly knw you moving at 250+ mph.

When I last visited Japan, over 25 years ago......I remember my otosama, okasama, and I, standing in a train station in Yokohama, not knowing what to do. Mind you, my parents both spoke Japanese, fluently, but were uncomfortable asking for assistance, for whatever reason. I found a group of American students, who were more than happy to help us. What I don’t remember, is it being easy. Cut to now, and watching your many videos, that teach us how to navigate throughout the many stations that you’ve visited. For that, I truly thank you! Thank you for taking the time, to explain everything, to include where the restrooms are located. ☺️

Whats more incredible is you say you found American students there, even 25 years ago, not too common, especially bumping into them by chance in the station.

Did this exact ride 1.5yr ago (Tokyo to Kyoto via Shinkansen)! Picked up packed food and ate it during the trip...Amazing 3wks experience we had in Japan and would love to do it again! One of the more memorable trips we’ve had.

As an Indian who loved trains since childhood, I was very emotional seeing a Shinkansen footage from 70s. My granny used to take me to my mom's native city on a diesel powered train. For 250kms it took 7 hours of journey and I always asked her a question on when we'll be able to reach in less than 5 hours, she laughed and said it's impossible. The fact that the current fastest train here runs at 200kmph while the Shinkansen 0 series ran at 220+ Kmph in 1964 shows how hard people of Japan worked to make it a success, I hope this technology which is currently under construction here helps our nation.

This was yet another good video!! This train is Awesome!! And the complimentary service that they offer to guest that's travel onboard is also great!! I'm someone who has never utilized public transportation!! Such as trains or subways!! I'm native of Texas and our public transportation is not as sophisticated as Japan's!! Instead we rely on our cars or pickup trucks to get us around in this vast state I live in!! I will keep this video in mind!! Thanks 4 Sharing yet again another phenomenal video!! 👍🇺🇸👍

    Everywhere, somethings are constant.
The sounds when a train enters platform.
The sounds heard inside a train when it's slowly leaving the station and gathering pace.
    The engine sounds.

The croissants were out of this World, yummy 😋. Unforgettable ! The Bullet was something else! I would love to relive the experience in Japan some day. Thank you for the video.
