FInally put a stand together for my forge that is on wheels. Thank you to Princess Auto for sponsoring this video. #forge #blacksmith #simplelittlelife
I was a mechanic/repair welder for many years off and on. Many times when I was finished running a bead I would lift up the welding shield and exhale and it was all weld smoke. I never smoked tobacco and one day in Sept 2020 I noticed my urine looked like cherry wine. Long story short I was diagnosed with bladder cancer, high grade tumors in my bladder. The surgeon removed them and I got checked every 3 months since. So far so good. He told me it's usually heavy smokers who get it. I was also exposed to diesel smoke through the years. Just be careful. Really nice stand, I need one like this.
You might want to consider adding a slide stop for the handle/work rest, personally I know I'd end up grabbing it and pulling it out when I tried to move the cart or having it catch on something 😂
Jeremy glad you are more safety oriented now. Also I am so happy to see you doing the more wide angle static camera setup. Feels like we are all in your shop learning.
Very nice job. That turned out very well there. Hopefully you get great use out of it for many years to come my friend. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Great energy with the shop build out. Think about a fume extractor by the welding table. It could be wheeled too. Too bad Princess Auto didn't carry a version of the 3M full face breather like Alec Steel. 👍 😃
I have a very similar work piece holder mechanism on my forge, good design. That plate should not be getting anywhere close to hot enough to worry about zinc, but often times you might set hot steel on the table and that would be a localized issue.
I love it.. thanks for sharing 👍

Great idea: Mobile forge stand

Nice little project thanks for sharing.
Lo estoy viendo, genial idea.

Thank you so much!! Greetings right back to you from Canada! 👍
Excellent workmanship!
Thank you!
Muriatic acid works great for stripping zinc 👍
Thats why you lift the endstop before cutting.
Wow, Impressive! So fast! (jk)
but seriously, great table.
Love the casual slap and kick at 12:52. Love the new shop videos, keep it up.
its almost a shame your grinding room isn't a little bigger. it'd be perfect for your chop saw
Might be able to paint it high heat black paint , that should take care of zinc ? Less work than grinding it all off

Nice work love the new shop

Like it but like these better when you talk more. Also saying that I ain't no clown-donkey.
Could you do a video on the work pro elite? Please
Loving the new shop. Workflow improvements are always nice. I need a new/better forge stand but thinking a drill press table first.
Should be fine with that not heating up, only needs 1-2 inches of air gap and the forge insulation does the rest.
Should I use a solution with my diamond stones ? I use the work pro elite.
The directions say not to,but, it seems like they are getting full therefore not biting as much

12:52 2 very important tests at the end!
Where do you buy your knife steel?
What steel would you recommend, and what thickness.
I am thinking of making a decent size hunter/edc knife
I’d consider blasting it off rather than grinding but that’s just me.
Awsome man
When u got sick from the galvanized were you welding?
Yoooo
Yoo!
