I respect President Adam Barrow is a great president to be honest he’s true whatever he say that’s why sometime I’m gonna be hunger with the Gambian people what they’re saying to him because he’s trying his best and whatever he say he deliver

Brother Musa, please calm down. A better Gambia is what you and I wish for in this country and for our children with improved health care system, education, a vibrant agriculture etc. You’re talking as if you’re angry with someone else. He’s peaceful. Yes! But does that give you food on your table? No His being peaceful doesn’t have to go all the way to forgiving some that loots our common resources. So I don’t understand what you mean by he’s peaceful. Of course we do not expect him to abusing the rights of Gambians arbitrarily as if we do not laws governing us as a country.

I’m very disappointed with whoever advised the president to conduct this interview in a language less than 5% of the population. No disrespect to any ethnic group but he’s the president of the entire Gambia. So anytime he speaks we have the rights to know what he’s saying because he’s working for us. If he couldn’t speak in English as the official language but should have either spoken in a language many understand or still get the interpreter for the Gambia masses. He has to wake up to the reality that even if we do not like his leadership style but he’s not a president of NPP but The Gambia. How many of us longed to hear an interview in such sessions with journalists about so many things happening in the country just like Ex. President Jammeh had his “One-on-one” interview with the late Kebba Fatty of GRTS.
This one in a million, how many times he conducted his interviews in other local languages?the same people who will say or wish we speak in our local language
No I think you misunderstood my comment. I didn’t mean he hasn’t conducted interviews in other languages. What I meant to say was an interview like this nature where he sits with a journalist like Ex. President Jammeh used to have with the late Kebba Dibba of GRTS “One-on-one” interview. Right now every Gambian wants to hear from the president especially with current issues like armed robbery, increased murder cases, shooting of PIU officers, audit reports about IEC, Gam Petroleum saga with the purported Russian vessel etc We all just want to hear from him directly what and how his government is doing in addressing these issues. He owes this to us as citizen’s because he’s working for us after we’ve signed a social contract with him that we’ll give him our state resources for him to effectively manage that for us. Bro, it’s not necessarily the language I have issue with but the percentage of the people that’ll have the chance to hear how he’s addressing our country’s problems. Better still if you take any offense with the phrase “language widely spoken”, my apologies. If you had read my message with contempt, you might have missed what I was trying to convey. It’s not the ethnicity but the percentage of audience as Gambians.
Big mouth very foolish man Gambian support a leader by tribe which is very shameful they don't worry about the suffering of the people most African leaders are doing well by bringing opportunities for the youths to work
Thank you so very much H. E President, may God Almighty Allah gives you long life and good health. I rated you high and higher.
