Corner boxes are better in my opinion. They have an angled head so it's easier to run and have extendable handles for those hard to reach tall ceilings.
Btw: I think overall the mudrunner is better because when you want to rerun it from the otherside without you have to adjust the nut again. Maybe I m to inexperienced with my mudshot but that is perception off it
I’ll tell you what your doing wrong but first Forget all the hatters bro !! I like that you posted the video and didnt edit out the mistakes . And also no one can float a angle faster than tools And leave it so perfect and clean . I was going to say your mud was to thick but you said it wasn’t so i watched you run it and seen the problem. 2 things you did wrong were #1 you have to let the tool work not the tool makeing you work. Don’t push so hard it doesn’t take a lot of pressure to fold the flaps of the angle head down . Just a little bit of pressure and they fold down . When you put a lot of pressure the tool cant slide like butter . So just enough to fold end fold in and so it stays in the corner and #2 this is the game changer tip it’s always easier push than it is pull . Don’t keep the tool behind you and pull it keep the angle head and tool in front of you and push it . Its going to run smoother and Will finish the angle on the first pass. Not way way In front of you but you will get the feel of exactly where but it has to be at least in front thats why when you do corners its so much easier and slides beautiful because your pushing the tool and not pulling it . I started with a big company who was training people with no experience to run the tools . Then taught me how to texture , then taught me how to use the knives. Once I learned how to apply the mud smooth and step back and see how pretty it looks I was hooked like a drug ..... and it’s a very hard trade to learn . You can teach someone to wire up a light , or teach them plumbing , or framing, heck all other trades can be taught and picked up by almost anyone . But this trade your either going to get it or your not It’s more of a art !

Put angle head in the corner, push to start flow wait as second and watch for flow to start then start pushing. Re run the angle if necessary. I watched someone here on UA-cam he had it dialed. Pretty much one pass and beautiful corner.
Es es tiene 80 libras de precios pero llenarlo con la pump es fácil siempre y cuando puedas con 15 libras de precios la consistencia de la masa (mud) tiene que ver entre más espesa más se batalla espero que te haiga ayudado el video y mi respuesta.
EMiXela Gracias por el comentario es un platico duro con unos refuerzos de acero inoccidable en los costados pero como es una herramienta poco cara la guarddamos en su estuche

I've never used this mudshot but I've used corner boxes. Until I try a mudshot I should remain impartial but do really enjoy the boxes.
Mudshot also have extandables but he is running it under a tho small angle and probably his corners are not clean.
