I dont know ... seems like a lot of wasted time ... ive been taping for 30 years and dont really remember having corner issues if they're screwed properly unless theres settlement or something which nothing will save it ... but interesting
The other thing i would say is ive tried alot of taping mud and the only one i really found to have proper amounts of glue in it is the Synco mud ... any other ive had to buy bottles of glue to add to it becaue the paper didnt split when you pulled it off the wall ... i just pulled the whole piece of tape off
But interesting idea and thanks for taking the time to show it

I’m not sure of the benefits of this process. I’ve been compounding for 34 years, and butt taping where the three intersecting planes meet with no issues. The fundamentals of fit, fastening, and fill, prior to taping are paramount. Once this is achieved the rest is academic based on one’s skill level in selecting the correct mud, it’s consistency, correct taping knife size and quality. Knowing how to “read” what’s going on during the application process makes or breaks the job.

Yeah I don't see the value.....corner of ceiling is 8ft off the ground....it all gets floated any way

This product is nothing but a gimmick. I could tape a whole room faster than you as you were wasting time with those. Imagine using these in a whole house?? My god man.
