P.S. Sierra, you not liking that lipstick is a TRAVESTY because it’s gorgeous on you. You should definitely wear it a bit and see if you warm up to it because that warm rose reeeeally warmed up and complemented your skin tone and made your hair color and eyes pop! 😊

I think Sierra’s main demographic is a little older than Alix’s. I think Alix’s content is more geared toward college-age women so like late teens to mid twenties. Obviously anyone can watch either, and clearly there’s so overlap, but it’s definitely a Venn diagram not a circle lol

I felt that, girlie. I was made fun of so much for having oily skin and got shamed into using really damaging skin care (the early 2000s were not kind). Now people buy super expensive make up to have "glass" or "dewy" skin. The trend cycle is cruel, ladies.

but anyway, this video was fun. It felt casual and chatty. I would recommend maybe zooming in more when talking about makeup and fewer jump cuts so we can see the products you're talking about. I know it's a challenge trying to frame multiple people, so maybe a few adjustments for next time! Overall i enjoyed the vibes of this video. I particularly enjoyed the fashion section with everyone.. more of this please!

As a oily girlie I absolutely would not have trusted the process with the makeup but was so surprised how it all came together!

I've never heard of this influencer (I'm not on tiktok) but I really enjoyed this video! I think you included some good clips of Alix Earle so those of us out of the loop had something to go off of. I do wish there were some talking clips of her, since you talk about her personality but we don't really see that in the example clips. All in all good format, everything flowed nicely.
You guys made this so accurate, so descriptive, educational, entertaining and fun.... in the most down the earth way. You got make up you'll use, clothes you loved, you all supported and hyped each other up with the pics AND on top of all that, made it a night out with the girlies slaying. LOVE this content. Fulfills a part of me because I have zero friends and my sisters ignore me like I am not even there, so watching this satisfies that longing-for-sisterhood part of me

I legit never heard of Alix until this video and I dont do tic tok, so she's the tic tok girl, sorry. Yall are adorable and I love the candor. I'm sure Alix is great, but I cant wait for someone to influence teens and 20's with items that are attainable. It's fun to live vicariously through other people, but I can't stand the thought of these young girls spending all their money on expensive items and going into debt to "look cute" instead of saving, buying a house, and/or making better financial decisions. 40's mom talking to my younger self...
Trust me, no one is going to be able to afford a house in the middle of a housing crisis lmao. There’s no point in saving for something that will never happen for most of us. I do agree with you on the debt part though!
