On that note, meet Taavi Kotka, e-Residency of Estonia's Co-Founder!
Taavi is a serial entrepreneur who knows the ins and outs of the entrepreneurial world quite well. Taavi was also the first Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Estonia, he was nominated as one of the Top 20 Brightest Business Minds in Northern Europe in 2016 and is currently the Founder and CEO of KOOS. Among many other ventures, he has also established a girls-only technology school, Unicorn Squad, in 2018.
In early 2014, Taavi Kotka, together with co-founders Ruth Annus and Siim Sikkut, had the crazy idea to open the digital nation, Estonia, up to the world, and from humble beginnings, e-Residency was born. Taavi is truly a pioneer of e-Estonia and continues to advocate for digital transformation.
