I always want to run away from God when i have intrusive/lustful thoughts because i always feel so bad about it. I always want to just stop praying and stop reading my bible. But i dont. I keep reading. I dont want to give up. Because i know He still loves me. Even when i feel bad about it, i still read my word because i know running away from Him will only make things worse.
Hi, I don’t know if this helps but I also have struggle with these intrusive lustful thoughts for a while now. However from the guidance that I’ve received from those around me, I’ve heard that we are not sinning as long as we do not entertain the bad thoughts. Basically this means that once we realize these thoughts are sexual / bad or something like that, after that realization we try to shift our mind to something else. However, if we realize that the thought is bad but still fantasize about lustful things, then we are sinning. Even still, I suggest you talk about this with someone trusted because this is a battle and many know much more than me and will be able to help you better. May God bless you and I hope things get better for you, at the end of the day, don’t ever think that you cannot talk to God, God will not abandon us and nothing can separate us from His Love. i was literally just thinking to myself "it's too hard, why do i have to fight this sin, why do i even want to sin, how is this fair?" and it pushes me away from God because I believe in my heart I can't stop masturbating. i just gave up weed a week ago and it's been hard.. and then this video popped up and I have more tears running down my face than ever before. Thank you for your sacrifice Ferg, thank you for picking up your cross and thank you for being a light. I really needed to hear this. Thank you God, for your servant Ferg.
I've been struggling with sexual immortality for years and im glad this video popped up on my page im still struggling till this day but im going to pray to flee from this sin so I can grow close and have a better relationship with God 🙏❤
“I need a better apology!!!!!” Man, that hit me in my SOUL. I said this on here in another account, but what helped me overcome my lustful addiction was an ad about p*rn addiction playing on here. When I watched it all the way through I said that’s God DIRECTLY speaking to me. I was like that’s it, I won’t fail him again, haven’t watched it since. I was weak, I would give in then feel awful, I would apologize to the Lord, promising to not do it again, but I kept giving in to the temptation. I’m telling you, God can and WILL help you overcome your porn, lust addiction, I’m proof of it!!!!

Around five minutes ago i fell into lust after god helped me get away from it an hour or so a go. Fleeing from it will require you pray when feeling resistance, it will require you read scripture when feeling resistance. Matthew 26:41 says “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” You must be alert of when your temptation comes around you and go to God in prayer immediately, go to God in the word and stay there until the temptation has left you. Do not entertain lust or temptation not for a moment bc all it needs is just one moment or second of your time to get to you. It’s not easy but following after God never was meant to be easy. Following after God and committing your way to him is worthwhile though.
I've done bad things to other's asked forgiveness to god but didn't get a respond can't repent because i have no fruit i want to know how to abide in Jesus and Jesus abides in me so I can bear the good fruit don't know if i have the holy spirit even tho i gave my life to jesus i don't know anymore i just deserve death to be upon me
