I was overweight, chronically online and overall a disgusting excuse of a human being. I truly believe that Satan had taken over my world. Last year, I was reborn through Jesus Christ. He is my savior and not only did he die for my sins but he gave me a second chance at life. Here I am, from 260 pounds to almost 200. I have never been more healthy and happy to be alive. Thank you Jesus and Thank you all heavenly Father God.

4 years ago i made the worst decision of my life which resulted in a felony conviction. It has cost me everything, it's hard finding jobs, a home. I went back to school to get a degree and i don't even know if it will make a difference. It's hard to even feed my family, i've never been a criminal i was just an idiot and i replay that night in my head constantly wishing i could just take it all back. After desperation and realizing my fail backs aren't my life but tests and speed bumps I realize it's a test and maybe a sign to take another path and I feel restored and refreshed remembering God's plan and moving to a new goal. Sometimes depression & anxiety are an illness in the brain. Do not beat yourself up or something. You may not be able to control. If you are God child he’s cares that you’re going through this. Create a atmosphere in your home with music sermons prayer even if it’s just praying in your car. Sometimes that’s been my best prayers. Go see a Christian counselor. If you don’t feel that one’s right then try different one possibly in the same office. Sometimes it takes a little while to get a good fit but most the time if they’re truly Christians they will help. I like to get a counselor that’s a lady since I am. I feel like it’s best to talk with the samesex due to the fact that they can usually understand u beter

Everyone is supposed to be someone, we're meant for a certain purpose. We serve God when we fulfill that purpose and go down that path. You need to answer whatever calling you deserted, it might be so deep in yourself, that you think nobody else in the entire world would ever understand no matter how much you tried to explain it to them. But you are *meant* to carry out that duty and it is well within your ability to. Your name Michael means "Who is like God?" in Hebrew. At your best, you see that nothing else is like God. You see that the love, life, strength, awareness, peace, clearness of conscience, lack of fear because it has been cast out by love, is all within him and is always available to you. When you are at your worst you chase idols, like the idol of gambling. The false promise of the power, strength, and love of life that you feel when you're winning. Don't trust in the idol of gambling, but have a speck of trust, a mustard seed of trust, in the light of God. Go down that path and become who you are supposed to be.
Similar story. Now I’m on the downside of life wondering what’s ahead and how I’ll make it. My nemesis wasn’t gambling, unless you include bad stock market decisions, but rather always biting off more than I can chew. I had a business for 12 years then just threw in the towel as I felt it was killing me. Now I’m still dealing with the financial fallout eight years later. God has a purpose in this. I’ve seen him work before in miraculous ways. I know he still is. It’s just a little harder to see right now.

Amen! I have been a Paraplegic for almost 40 years and done a lot of work in nonprofit helping people with disabilities from my experiences. I have had a very rough go and many surgeries for the last 9 years. My faith was tried and I failed many times, but I am now back to about 90% of before being disabled. He had to uproot bitterness that I had allowed, and release the pain and hurt I harbored in my heart. Today I cried after months of hard work and hope because I thought my goals won't happen. After desperation and realizing my fail backs aren't my life but tests and speed bumps I realize it's a test and maybe a sign to take another path and I feel restored and refreshed remembering God's plan and moving to a new goal. Its the hurt of growing pain but I know only growth and greatness comes from the pain of hardships. I smile in the pain for it brings a better happiness

Sometimes depression & anxiety are an illness in the brain. Do not beat yourself up or something. You may not be able to control. If you are God child he’s cares that you’re going through this. Create a atmosphere in your home with music sermons prayer even if it’s just praying in your car. Sometimes that’s been my best prayers. Go see a Christian counselor. If you don’t feel that one’s right then try different one possibly in the same office. Sometimes it takes a little while to get a good fit but most the time if they’re truly Christians they will help. I like to get a counselor that’s a lady since I am. I feel like it’s best to talk with the samesex due to the fact that they can usually understand u beter

Why do people gamble? Because it gives them a feeling of life. It gives you a feeling of what it feels like to be strong, active, living life, awake and *in love with life.*
But of course its only a flash of that, and then it grips you and drags you down.
The real cure is to find the truth which brings that feeling forth completely.
We are made in the "image of God" because at our absolute best we're like a flash of his greatness. Everyone is supposed to be someone, we're meant for a certain purpose.
We serve God when we fulfill that purpose and go down that path.
You need to answer whatever calling you deserted, it might be so deep in yourself, that you think nobody else in the entire world would ever understand no matter how much you tried to explain it to them.
But you are *meant* to carry out that duty and it is well within your ability to.
Your name Michael means "Who is like God?" in Hebrew.
At your best, you see that nothing else is like God. You see that the love, life, strength, awareness, peace, clearness of conscience, lack of fear because it has been cast out by love, is all within him and is always available to you.
When you are at your worst you chase idols, like the idol of gambling. The false promise of the power, strength, and love of life that you feel when you're winning.
Don't trust in the idol of gambling, but have a speck of trust, a mustard seed of trust, in the light of God. Go down that path and become who you are supposed to be.
Similar story. Now I’m on the downside of life wondering what’s ahead and how I’ll make it. My nemesis wasn’t gambling, unless you include bad stock market decisions, but rather always biting off more than I can chew. I had a business for 12 years then just threw in the towel as I felt it was killing me. Now I’m still dealing with the financial fallout eight years later. God has a purpose in this. I’ve seen him work before in miraculous ways. I know he still is. It’s just a little harder to see right now.

My heart is broken, my body is broken, my brain is broken by stress and financially things are getting worse every day- despite me not doing anything wrong or bad. And my faith has been shaken. Losing my cat was the straw that broke the camels back.

Woke up at all hours of the night and finally got up before 4 am out of anxiety and panic over no income - STILL after all these months. The stress has been affecting my health. Amen! I have been a Paraplegic for almost 40 years and done a lot of work in nonprofit helping people with disabilities from my experiences. I have had a very rough go and many surgeries for the last 9 years. My faith was tried and I failed many times, but I am now back to about 90% of before being disabled. If I can just hang on to this level again, I will be so grateful. In actuality if I can be with Jesus in Heavan before the world gets much worse would be unimaginable. Amen!

Amen! He's in the process of restoring all the stolen years of my life due to bad decisions, pursuing relationships with people that I now know are toxic, all because I wanted to be accepted. I know now that God has accepted me in the beloved, and he accepts me fully and completely. He is beginning the process of restoration. He had to uproot bitterness that I had allowed, and release the pain and hurt I harbored in my heart. He tore me down to the studs and said, "I want to build a new foundation in you, a foundation built on the Rock (Christ). (Isaiah 43:19.) I allowed God to build that foundation, and recently he has blessed me with an amazing, godly woman who loves God with her whole heart. I believe he's going to bless me with an employment opportunity that will earn me far more money than I have ever made.
2024 is a very hard one, this was supposed to be our year and it hasn't been
