Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, is where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, and featuring the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade, respectively, “Elemental” releases on June 16, 2023.

I regret waiting until Inside Out was released on DVD

I guess this is their "Pixar is back in theaters for real this time" ad after three straight-to-Disney+ movies (Soul, Luca, and Turning Red), one movie forced to be pulled from theaters early due to COVID-19 (Onward), and one critical and commercial failure (Lightyear).
I do wish this movie the best of luck. Pixar’s fate may be difficult to decide how Disney distributes their future titles

One: Elemental has not had massive anticipation, two: the film’s coming out in an already packed month with so much coming out, matter of fact, the film’s literally releasing the same day as The Flash, finally three: the reception has not been very good and although people are already starting to not pay attention to critics (ie The Super Mario Bros Movie) if the general public does agree with the critics, bad or even mediocre word of mouth will destroy a film that is already projected to have even worse opening numbers than Lightyear.
Unfortunately the way I’m seeing things right now, you can see why the apology to PIXAR in advance
I dont know why, but this kind of trailer, at this point of Pixar situation, make me feel that theyre really in danger of crisis, that would need to reach our nostalgia just to sell tickets for this new movie
