Not only was he an amazing entertainer and singer but also a wonderful human being who was kind, funny and had the biggest heart and truly cared for everybody, both people he knew and didn’t knew❤️ And then there has never been to this day an artist that cared so much and loved his fans so truly as he did! His energy and power on that stage is absolutely outstanding! I won a radio show contest and the prize was a day with Elvis but our friendship lasted past that one day in time. All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. i saw him a few weeks before he passed we had a short conversation which i will never share again because people are so nasty and comment hurtful heart breaking things they do not know me but they still can't keep their mouths closed about things they know nothing about. They were made of Gabardine Wool, not Leather and they all were designed by Bill Belew. Priscilla gave a few ideas, Elvis gave his suggestions for design, but all designing was by Bill's Company from the 68 Special until Elvis Died
Actually Elvis had them suits designed for him so he can move around better wouldn't rip his pants and at times he like to do karate on the stage anyway them suits that he's wearing look them up how much they weigh about 25 lb and up some of them are even heavier than that if I'm not mistaken I think even one of his suits weighed 100 lb I could be wrong I got to look it up again but I do know this one of his belts that he wears around his waist in an interview I believe Elvis said it weighed about 75 pounds. it's amazing he is a legend G.O.A.T and he is a very beautiful man had Charisma was humble love all people despite his flaws he was very loved

However, the main reason Elvis sweat is because he poured his heart out into the songs he sang. Elvis didn't just sing the song, he felt the song. A song's best friend was Elvis.
He was something else in person. I saw him in concert twice in the early 70's and it was electrifying. I was 10 when I went to the first concert with my mom. Elvis had someone design those jumpsuits. Those were his idea. They were originally designed similar to his karate outfits but as one piece. They gave him room to move without tearing. As you can see....lol. Elvis was a huge practical joker. None of his band or backup performers knew when, where or who he would target because, as you saw, even being on stage didn't stop him from having fun and playing jokes on people.
Elvis loved joking around on stage, & his musicians & backup singers never quite knew what he would get up to, but it was all done in the spirit of good fun, & he got on very well with all his backup singers & musicians. I was just a kid when he passed but I was brought up on his music and knew all of it. Still love him. Always will. Did you know that in his first tv appearance on the Ed Sullivan" show, the camera man was instructed by the producers to only film Elvis from the waist up because his "gyrating " hips and other moves were unacceptable for viewers!?? Because he couldnt help the way he moved and couldnt just not do it! Can you imagine what the people back then would think of some music and performers today?!! No one put him in suit.. it was easy to move in with all his spontaneous moves and didn’t bunch up if wearing too and bottom separate, although I agree.. he’d look great in shirt and sweats too. . Sweaty cos this is only one number after bunch of energetic songs
