Kuiu's got great packs. The Pro Divide 4500 pack and the treestand whitetail hunter pack, the Encounter Divide 2800 pack. If you're a major treestand hunter, this 2800 is sweet, and it's $299. Once you buy the frame and suspension from kuiu. You can pretty much just buy the bags you need and swamp them out depending on the kind of hunt you will do.
The difference in price on the Kuiu’s is that the 2300 is on a frame and suspension built to carry a lot of weight while backpack hunting. You can use the same frame and suspension and put larger Kuiu bags on it up to 7800ci. The less expensive Kuiu is more comparable to the other packs you reviewed, as it has a built in frame and is more of a day pack.
Gotcha, it seems like a really good pack and we were so close to going with it as the number one, especially for the price compared to some of the others!
Every one of these packs that do not come with hip pockets are customizable so you can add hip pockets. The Eberlestock Tomahawk is basically a military / military training pack. The Destoyer is sort of a combination of hunting / military pack, referred to as a mountaineering pack.
All of these packs seem to be very durable and would probably fit your needs for photography! If you’re looking to keep things organized these bigger packs would probably be great!

I have the transfer pack. I love it. Fits very well to my back. Plenty of room and you cinch up tight if you’re not carrying a big load.

I think we considered buying one of there’s as well but we couldn’t get them all😅 but we heard lots of good things about there packs as well!
