Second, he didn't do well at all with the altitude faced here on this show, and didn't try to be an idiot and tough it out. A real lesson to people out there to go at your own pace if you're struggling.
One of my heroes , literally ! I have been addicted to heroin and done state time ! And everything Danny Trejo speaks on is sincere and from the heart ! He truly gets his reward from helping his fellow human beings to have a better life !
Every monster has a face. Every demon has something like some kind of conscience. The sleep paralysis demons of darkness only take a sip of the ocean that is the human soul. Even the sleep paralysis demons never talk about something… there’s something bigger and darker than can swallow oceans and the sleep paralysis demons have an unspoken rule to fear and never come anywhere towards those large dark things. If you could communicate with a sleep paralysis demon, you would see an unfathomably complicated being that can understand you and has a natural curiosity with the living.
Danny is such a humble and genuine person. I have met him numerous times over the years due to working in the Recovery field here in Malibu. If you are ever lucky enough to hear his journey and where he came from, it really puts things in perspective.
I watch that show. He telling Gyles his hard life, that bring me to tears. That God he overcame his demons and became sucessful. His childhood almost similar to mine.
Bear: overcoming challenges on last thousand feet of climb.. Trejo: faces more challenges before 18 years old than Bears whole life..yet is more humble
