Love these versions of these songs. Me being a conscious person cannot help it but to see/hear the concern conveyed in the message of these words. Here's something to consider. Just because you throw trash or recycling in the proper receptacle does not mean you are not polluting. I will not pretend and virtue signal my guilt away. I will not pretend that I am not the "Mr.". Even when I grab my own guitar and play these songs for myself and my friends and family I have to acknowledge my own participation in these things. It's easy to point the finger at the Mr and exclaim that I am a Mr who is better and more virtuous than the Mr I point my finger towards. Calling it like you see it? I do that all day. Mr Harper, with all due respect. Where does your money go? What are you doing besides capitalizing from your apparent virtue? That being said, I love your music Ben.
