- What a great way to end the year!
Thank you all for coming on this journey with me. Your support means the world to me. I've got a lot of free time right now, so I felt it was only right to take half a day and do some thrifting. After the holidays, I needed it.
I've said it before, and it proved to be true again today - be persistent and keep going to places regularly, as turnover rate is pretty high. I'm glad I trusted my gut and went to a few regular spots before making my way to new territory.
I passed some other good spots out in that area of the state - some that don't come up on Google Maps, even, so I may need another day out there to check them out.
It's always a nice feeling when you go out looking, and come home with what you were looking for.

I would have bought that empty case at 7:20, because it could have probably fit the Voigtlander pretty well... also I think you potentially missed a neat little Teleconverter or Speedbooster at 2:26 next to the light meter you looked at. I'm jealous of these thrift stores... not enough around here... ;)

I keep an old already ruined roll of film with the tab still out in my bag so when I find a camera I may want I can see if it advances film through it, rewind the film until the tab is still out, and then keep using that film as a tester. Just an idea

Heck's puts all their good cameras on Ebay for a much higher price than what they could get in store!
I check their eBay store occasionally and haven’t seen many cameras - maybe I should be checking there more often!
I love those vito cameras the lenses actually are pretty damn nice from my experience.
I'm a huge fan of the Lanthar optics on my other Voigtlander, I'm really looking forward to putting a roll through this one. Happy New Year!

You're right! I have learned to keep my eyes open for them, but many aren't in great shape sadly.
