Thanks for the tip! I've tried some pretty strong double-sided tape in the past, and it never really held up over time and use. I've used rubber cement as well, which offers a bit more temporary a solution, but found that super glue holds up the best with this plastic-like material.

@@lanejpeg contact adhesive is amazing too if you get the application right, it takes some prep having an air gun is a big plus for nice clean thin application, masking is clutch, I've used this for all kinds of laminating and upholstery,

I know a good deal when I see one! Very happy to add both the strap and the camera to my collection.

In hindsight, I probably should have grabbed it. I second guessed myself while I was there, too, but left without it in hopes it would eventually find a good home!

It’s often hit or miss around these parts, but I’m always happy to find any cameras when I’m out. The places I get to go while out searching are an added bonus!

While I do agree it's a little much for most people, this was more of a test for me than anything else!

Alfred came through clutch in the 11th hour, thankfully! Now I'm all set for whatever weather gets thrown at me.

​​@@lanejpegthat Canon A1 has an electronicaly control shutter, taking an assortment of batteries with you Can make testing them possible when you encounter cameras that will jot opperate otherwise. The A1 is a pretty cool camera offers some nice priority shooting modes as well as full manual but does require batteries. Even of it did fire though they still do jave a few issues much like the AE-1 that came before and the AE-1 Program that followed. I feel your pain when hunting and coming up empty handed. It can be depressing seeing soo much junk that's just over priced if it was a dollar.

Hah, forget about the case... the tripod mount is in a weird place on that camera... ;)

I can’t blame you! Mine is absolutely one of my favorite lenses I own. Regardless of sentimental attachment, I’m not sure I’d part with mine either!

Only ones that are in good shape, and aren’t duplicates of what I already have. I have 60+ cameras at the moment, so trust me when I say I don’t NEED any of them.

Pretty close! I've always liked the lace half-seat covers, so I found a set made for a Camry. They're not a perfect fit, but I like them!

@@lanejpeg I didn't even know people used them outside Japan, I remember getting into a cab in Tokyo and being incredibly confused. :)

@ I have a cover for the back seat, too, but took it off to transport some wheels recently.

I scored it last week at a local Goodwill, I was SO excited to find it!
