Hi Ho-ran Hope all is well buddy. I am in the market for a gaming monitor. Question, what resolution you use and what is a brand to get? I am in love with MLB The Show. Love baseball ⚾️ in general. Thanks in advance and thanks for sharing your input buddy ❤️⚾️
Great tips. I was wondering about classic pitching. I can't get the hang of the other pitching modes lol so i stick with classic but what I've noticed is that there is more to it than pressing a single button. I haven't seen anyone else make a video about classic. So maybe you can try it out. So example lets say we're on Xbox and i select B for curveball. What i do is i will hold the ball at the location i want, then I'll press B once turn my joystick then tap A. I might be crazy 😂 but im telling you. I started out by holding each pitch then tried double tapping it all pitch outcomes go in different directions
Classic gives you the least amount of control of where the ball goes. It’s the least forgiving pitching method. It takes time to get the hang of other methods so if you give up too soon you won’t get it. But once you get it down it’s like second nature. A video on classic would only last a minute lol.
What does velocity abd break do in diamond dynasty? The pitches already have set speeds and break and control? So whats the point if break velocity and control?
Good question. From what I understand stand, those attributes are over-arching and they will be a factor when the pitcher loses energy, meaning when their energy goes down, so will their velocity and control go for each pitch too. Higher overall Velo and control will help the pitchers when they get tired, as well as the break outlier quirk. Additionally, you can just see it as a quick reference to overall Velo and break instead of looking at each pitch.
@Ho-ran Yeah it does seem to be a bit random. There's a guy I use with 99 velo that has a 98mph 4seam and a 101mph cutter (I LOVE that pitch), and there are other guys with 99 velo that throw 94-96 on a 4seam. I know when I was doing RTTS each pitch had its own Velo/Brk/etc stat, so I assume that player cards do as well, I just don't know if you can see it.
When I let the joy stick drop to the middle before the final pull down sometimes it registers that as my pull down Don’t know if it’s my controller but it makes me stay up and miss it on the way down a lot. Don’t know if that makes sense
