love how you commented on taking a day or two off. i went away for a couple days and prior to going on a small vacation i was in a big slump. didnt play at all for 2 or 3 days. hopped back on and was raking playing better than before when i was hot. couldnt believe it. great point

When I slump I try changing my PCI that usually helps. I had the exact same Diamond pci as well lol, threw the star fighter around it an have been back ever since

The point about facing better pitchers when you’re in a slump definitely has to do with pitcher confidence and flow of the game. When you’re putting up good abs and hitting it’s definitely more likely for an opponent to just be less locked in and mess up a pinpoint

I have the recipe against lefties. Tier 3 Ortiz boost. C - Napoli, DH - Bichette, 1B - Ortiz, 2B - Aurilia, 3B - Chipper, SS - Rollins, OF - Braun, Cameron, Babe. Only bad hitter in this lineup is Ortiz who you have to have as captain. Still great against right too.
I find it hilarious this video comes up when I get MLB the lineout 24 and my opponents get bleeders and very late home runs. can't tell you how much I almost deleted my controller the last 2 games.
It makes it even harder you slump the pitchers confidence maxes out so fast, and your opponent can then dot every pitch
I think baseball is easily the biggest mental game whether it's real life or in a videogame. It just takes so much concentration, focus, hand-eye coordination... if you're upset, slightly tired, whatever the case is, it's throwing you off completely and it will make you rage swing, start pressing, throwing bad pitches... Baseball definitely will take a toll on you more than most other games.
I don't know. I think, but can't prove, that the game is programmed to induce slumps, probably to make it more realistic because a team going the whole reg season with single digit losses is hyper unrealistic. I took days off yet somehow my "good" swings still miss completely with great players. And then their weakest hitters hit home runs while reaching for outside sliders. Also, I started the reg season 28-2, but now I'm on a 4-6 slump. How did I lose 6 (to sub 500 teams btw) in 10 games when I had only lost 2 in the first 30 games?

I don't care if I lose, I mean I only win like 55-60% of my games anyway. But I just HATE losing when strikes are not being called so frustrating. Perfect pitches that just miss the zone or hit the zone but called a ball. That shit just pisses me off because you CANT do anything about it.
