- It is so nice to welcome another new Miniature Railway,I hear of so many closing these days.
This railway was started in August this year,so they have worked wonders to get this far in such a short time.With a lot of work to be done they need the support of the public.
I have included in this video a picture of the track plan.
You can find the railway in the grounds of Russells Garden Centre Coventry, near Coventry Airport,well worth a look around with many plants on sale.Plus pop into the Cafe for drinks or a meal.
This is my second Brand new railway I have visited this year,the first one being Riverside M.R at St Neots.
Please support both of these new railways so they can complete there railways.
It was lovely to meet you Chris and the video is fantastic! Bridge View Light Railway or BVLR is, as you say, a new miniature railway based in Coventry. We are a not-for-profit community group encouraging members from all walks of life to get involved. We have had a great start to the year, with nearly 30 members on the books now, and loads of support from Russells Garden Centre and the now disbanded Electric Railway Museum (ERM).
If anyone wishes to donate to us then please get in touch. We pretty much need everything!!

It did cross my mind if this railway had come from the Electric railway museum.Sadly we never ever had a ride on that miniature railway.We will visit your railway again and we both wish you all the very best for the future......Chris and Rosie.

I hope this little gem is still going after all that's happened in the world.
As far as I know it still is running.
So good a new railway started up, very good.
I may be wrong Kay but I think this one was at the now closed, Coventry Electric Rail Museum,so like you they are redeveloping.........Regards Chris
