Unconditional love certainly is a reflection of one's faith; as is cleaving together, after committing oneself to the covenant relationship of marriage - as instituted by God - until death parts.
IMO in this talk there is too much consideration of feelings, which often (as our hearts) are deceitful. Instead stand firmly on Scripturally based convictions and be ready to stick together with one's marriage partner - for better or worse; including when it comes to one's fleeting, changing feelings.
