I've always been intrigued buy the difference between the Old Testament and New Testament, and the parallels in prophecy. By rightly dividing, this helps overcome the confusion. Amen brother Roy.
Amen Brother Roy! Dispensationalism is the Truth. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father to be living in this Church Age of Grace. May I make an anonymous prayer request? Please pray for me and my family and Granddaughter for reasons I can't disclouse, also, I lost my mother of 87 years to cancer on Dec. 16. Thank you and God Bless you All.
Thank you Brother Roy! Eyes up! Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus' death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection with all your heart for payment of all your sins, past, present and future.
Show me in scripture where unbelievers worship with believers? Aren't 'church' buildings 501C3, a government property? Show me in the new testament where Christians are supposed to give a tenth of their income to a Hireling? Lol
It's been estimated, that only around 5% of the body of Christ, rightly divide the word of truth, according to 2 Tim 2:15 (KJV). This is the reason why we have about 95% of the churches teaching false doctrine today, particularly on the doctrine of salvation. 😔
Amen, brother Roy, explained beautifully - the Bible makes sense this way, the alternative is just a mishmash of confusion which is the way the Church at large interprets things today! Then you tell them you read the KJB and watch their eyes roll! God bless, keep up the good work from New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤
Love those verses you pulled out! Woo wee! Is there belief, faith and trust in God in each dispensation? Of course, but it is still different in the details or revelation.
We read that without faith it is impossible to please God. Was it possible for people in the OT who had faith in the Lord to please Him without doing works/keeping the law? Would that faith be sufficient to please God? Upon death would they go to Abraham's Bosom and await the preaching of the Gospel while there to "complete" their faith and salvation?
God bless brother Roy! Amen and Amen! Studying and Rightly Dividing are the only way to understand the Bible. That's why, as you know, modern 'translations' change 2nd Timothy to some type of Works and Handling of the word. Maranatha
Do you know why? The Greek word the kjv translates as "rightly dividing" literally means to blaze a straight trail through a wilderness. We have no English equivalent for it. It has nothing to do with "dividing" anything, but means to properly handle the text.
@TommyNitro I think you missed the whole point of brother Roy's video which my comment was affirming. The 'rightly dividing' is referring to dispensations in the Bible; knowing who is speaking to whom, what period in time and why. Without 'rightly dividing' contradictions pop up which is impossible with God
@@User-c7g2h Ah I see. Dispensationalists often use this verse to support the "rightly dividing" of the dispensations, and then claim modern versions have been changed to do away with this. I simply disagree with that viewpoint as the Greek doesn't have a good equivalent in the English for the word meaning cutting a straight trail through wilderness.
@TommyNitro If you correctly believe the word of God is INSPIRED, then why not PRESERVED for all time in ONE finished Bible. Does God need men to keep on translating and translating to infinity His words? Like it or not the 1611 King James Version was/is His finished product. Watch more of brother Roy's videos specifically on this subject as well as Robert Breaker, REAL Bible Believers and Truth is Christ. I know what I know and believe what I believe. Investigate for yourself. Maranatha
@@User-c7g2h No it's not. It's not the original. It's not the standard. The inspired Word was the original manuscripts written in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. ALL others are simply translations. And translations are imperfect as languages do not always have word for word meanings that are easily transmitted. The funny thing is, the argument you are making was made about the KJV when it was released, lol. Nor is English, especially dead Elizabethan English, the standard for language. According to your logic, Christians did not have the real Scriptures for 1600 years, and current non English speaking Christians are up a creek. Not to mention the dozens of false friends in the KJV, such as "rightly dividing". I've seen his videos. Many are "They've changed this"......Until you actually see a language expert discuss the originals.
8 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools ( Romans 1;18-22)
