Awe my heart broke for Chris! You could see how bummed out the boys were missing this trip. I know you guys will plan a way for them to get to go to DW soon. But seeing the disappointment and sadness in Chris’s Face was heartbreaking.

When I broke my toe last year, initially it hurt so much I couldn’t move for like 5 minutes, then it was FINE the rest of that day, and didn’t start actually hurting until the next night. Then the morning after that, oooooh boy, the broken bone pain hit. It took a full 7.5 weeks to heal!
Toes are soooo weird I swear! Crazy!

The most common term from the 90’s was actually fanny pack... now a lot of ppl call them bum bags.... there’s actually 4-5 different words for it.
Also fanny is slang here as well ... means butt. Not sure what it means where you are.
Jess! Pop sockets are transferable! (Just not the sticky part) you are able to take off the part you hold/the designed part! Just look up how to twist off your popsocket so you don't have to buy a whole new one.

The Kaden story reminds me of when my entire family was going on a cruise together. We were flying from NJ to California to get onto the cruise with my family that lives in CA! We landed and texted them that we landed so they could pick us up and their response was "it might be a little while we are at the ER". Turned out my twin cousins were playing and somehow one of them fell and hit his face and needed stitches near his eyebrow. It sucked because we were going on a cruise and stitches can't get wet but we still made the most of it!
So sad Tommy and Caden couldn't go.

You planned 72 outfits! That's an accomplishment in itself. Do you wash all the new clothes before packing and wearing? Having an extra washer/dryer for this amount of laundry would be so helpful.

Jessica you can transfer your pop socket. Peel it off wash it with warm water, dry and re-apply. My husband has had the same one for like 4 cases now.

I had a broken toe as a kid and it was casted. I guess it just depends on which toe and the brake. Glad to hear his was just a sprain!!

Hey Jessica. From a Disney World lover to a Disneyland lover, the best way to describe the size of Disney World is that the property is twice the size of the island of Manhattan. Just some good trivia for you.
You can buy just the sticky backs for popsockets on ebay, if I have to change case I just pull the old sticky off and put a new one on, then I can keep the same popsocket on the new case.
On October 1st, my son broke 2 toes (stumped them on the dining room chair leg). He couldn't even walk, he was in so much pain. He is 12 and I had to muster up all my strength to get him to the car. The doctor did r-xays but did nothing to the toes, no wrapping. The healed on their own. He actually have 1 more x-ray in a few weeks. Thank God your son only had a sprain.
When I was in school if we missed more than 8 days of school (throughout the entire year) even with a doctors note you would automatically fail that grade/year 🥴
I was supposed to go to Walt Disney world last month but the trip got cancelled because some of my family members felt uncomfortable going due to covid. 😭😭

Always, always, always get an injured foot x-rayed! The foot (& hand) are notorious for hairline fractures. They can't always be detected just by feeling the foot (or hand), but can cause pain for the rest of your life if left untreated. For context, I'm an advanced first aider & a health scientist. There is one difference between treatment for sprains & fractures of the toe; the length of time it needs to be strapped up. But at least you can take the strapping off for baths & showers.
So jealous! I’ve been “craving” Disneyland, but Disneyworld would be AMAZING!
I just fell down my basement stairs earlier this year, I fractured the same toe Kaden hurt. I went to my doctor and they gave me a brace, no pain meds though but strong ibuprofen helped!

My family and I took our 3 year old to Disney world for the first time (it was everyone’s first time) and it was amazing. Granted I was 8 months pregnant, I had fun. Disney pop century hotel was dope and the coolest hotel we’ve stayed at !

I'm in PA and when I was 13 my gram took our whole family to Florida for Disney world, I'm now 28 and cannot wait to go back and take my kids. I can tell you that Disney world magic never goes away for Disney fans!

You can change pop sockets or transfer them to another phone you just need the right one. Some of them you can push down and pop the pop socket off just need a new base to put on another case
You can buy new sticky parts for pop sockets on Amazon so you can transfer them! It’s great!
On amazon is can’t get replacement pop socket sticky part then buy the pop sockets in which you can change the top and then they’re interchangeable
Our son with brain tumor just got his wish to go to Disney World. We just got back Sat. We sadly missed a lot of Magic Kingdom. Give Kids The World Village made it amazing week for him though. When did you guys go?

Popsockets does make one that attaches to the MagSafe magnet on your case or phone.
Just know that breaks on the feet don’t always show up right away on X-rays. You need X-rays four days after.
I broke my pinky toe on a door frame and didn’t really think anything of it honestly but it started hurting and turning blue then purple. Went to the ER and found out I had actually broken it and was in a boot for a few weeks and if I didn’t get that boot off I wasn’t going to be able to go to Disneyland but luckily it healed perfectly and was told to wear steal toe shoes to protect it for it to continue to heal. Prayers a sprain is never fun I have sprained both wrist and my ankle but they take time to heal
I really appreciate how you took him to get an xray my parents made me walk around on a broken foot till it when black a week later and made me use my fractured arm till it broke so I appreciate how you check him properly

Jessica, i have a suggestion for you.. for either the kids Christmas gifts or birthday gifts, with you loving Casetify you should get each one of the kids a phone case for there phone personalized with their name,IE Caden or Tommy with Jessfam on it. each of the children who have cellphones.

off topic but urgent cares are literally amazing! (at least in my experience) they’re all so sweet and they have diagnosed me with mono and swimmers ear. for situations like kaden’s i highly recommend going to urgent care. i go to urgent care 95% of the time because i procrastinate and can never get sick visits lol.
