i visited a few years ago and ever since, davis has been my #1 choice. ive visited UCB and UCSB and davis for me is better in all aspects. it's homey, its a beautiful small college town, lots of bikes and nature. i'm applying for TAG and transfer for fall 2021, hopefully i can join y'all in davis next year!
I’m currently a freshman at UC Davis and I love it here. The campus is so big and there’s still parts of the campus I have not yet explored. The people here are so nice and there’s so many opportunities to get engaged. There are lots of volunteer opportunities, internships, clubs, and organizations. The scenery is also a plus. The staff here are so nice and genuinely want to help you. As an incoming freshman, I was afraid I wasn’t going to make any friends but that’s not a problem here as long as you try. UC Davis is the place to be.
I watched this as a newly accepted student back in March and now I am watching it again as a freshman here...struggling through my first final and searching for some youtube videos to release my stress LOL Everything looked so unfamiliar to me the first time I watched this video, but UCD is my home now. Can't believe this
this is great! I'm laughing at some of the similarities to the video I'm working on right now lol I even sat on the egghead in front of mrak for it omg lol
So I'm definitely considering UC Davis as my future college plan. However, I love the city life and a bit nervous about the small college town surrounding the school. Could anyone give me more insight on what to expect at UC Davis and if there's a lot of stuff to explore outside of the campus?
I visited in December 2016 and my sister hit the gong and we were so afraid we were going to get in trouble. seeing you do it makes me feel better though it was almost 1.5 years ago. PS, I love your videos!
Great video as always, man. I‘ve been watching your videos since your move in vlog and I was immediately drawn to UC Davis. I was recently admitted, and since Davis is pretty high up on my list, I‘m super stoked for this to be a legit possibility rather than just a baseless hope. I‘ve just got a couple questions about the school. 1. Which dorm do you think is best in terms of food, location, party scene, and vibe? I know you‘re probably biased toward your own dorm, but... yeah. 2. How did you find a roommate? Did you arrange beforehand or did you leave it all up to chance (I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure how this works so if I‘m completely wrong please correct me). 3. If I‘m a „city boy“ (Los Angeles), will moving to Davis be a rough transition? I‘m pretty used to the big city and DTLA and having everything be so accessible wherever I go. I feel like I sound very elitist rn, sorry bout that. I‘m just afraid that it will be a huge cultureschock. 4. I think I‘ll be doing a one day fly-in visits for accepted students in April. Anything I should keep an eye out for or try to do while I‘m in Davis?
Oh wow, such a brief video yet so informative! I recently got accepted into UC Davis, and although it wasn’t my first option, I’m highly considering attending, but I’m extremely worried about not being able to make friends and not having a place to fit in. I’ve tried looking for vlogs related to UCD Welcome Week or any other activities for freshmen to get to know each other, but I have barely found any. Also, I’m lowkey worried about moving to Nor-Cal (I’m from Puerto Rico) because I don’t really have much information about it. If you could please tell me some information about friendships and the community overall at UCD it will be greatly appreciated.
Also how’s the housing situation? Since I live in LA and I’ve never visited the campus before, I want to know if I can find a way to secure housing for me. I appreciate your response.
UC Davis is the ONLY university that I really want to go to 🥺💛, I’m in love with this school & the veterinary program that they have since I want to become a veterinarian 🥰. I’ll be a senior next year so I’m hoping I get accepted when it’s that time of the year to apply to colleges/universities 🤞🏽
Hi!!, I have an American nationality but I live in Mexico, I studied high school here and now I want to go back to U.S. Can I enter to UCD without any problem?
do you know much about the honors program? i got admitted to ucd and their honors program recently and was wondering if it is worth it..i know we would be living in currant hall which i dont see in any video
Hi Alex, fantastic video! I had just visited campus yesterday and seeing all the buildings again got me excited for Davis :) I hear that a lot of undergraduate underclassmen struggle to get the necessary classes for their majors to graduate on time. Would you say this is true? Would you know how it is specifically for electrical, computer, or computer science students? Thank you! Go Aggies!
I have questions! Sorry to ask, but do I have to get straight A’s in all my classes senior year in high school to attend there? And what about a 2 years of taking foreign class, do they still accept that? I just want to know how to be able to get accepted there, I’ve been stress about this lately. And what to not do in high school, to get accepted there?
Hey there alex! I’ve been watching your videos since I’ve been accepted to UC Davis to better prepare myself for the incoming fall! Do you have any advice for me because i want to start a UA-cam channel to keep a record of my college life, but i have no idea what i am doing? Also, I’m a chemistry major, so any tips to help me survive? Haha thank you!!
They have parking lot for dorms You can't park on the street because you have to have a permit says that you are a person who lives in the city itself not a student who just wants to park there because you have a class
I'm not in highschool yet, Because I'm just in middle school, but when I graduate I want to go to uc Davis because I went there for a fuild trip in elementary :>
This is literally the most perfect video for seeing a college in such a short time. You killed it dawg :D
@@craving2create you should do tours like this for other colleges. Or better yet, they should pay you to make a video about them.
got into Davis but can’t visit the campus in person due to the coronavirus. thank you so much for this great tour!
Same!
pretty much sums me up
i visited a few years ago and ever since, davis has been my #1 choice. ive visited UCB and UCSB and davis for me is better in all aspects. it's homey, its a beautiful small college town, lots of bikes and nature. i'm applying for TAG and transfer for fall 2021, hopefully i can join y'all in davis next year!
UC Davis in 2 minutes?! Amazing. Loved your features of the Memorial Union - so many great spots, including us aaalll the way up on the 4th floor! :)

Tbh youre a way better tour guide than me AND ITS MY JOB
Awesome job, loved the transitions!! You covered so much in just 2 minutes 😂👌🏼
legitimately the best college tour video I've ever seen, fast and to the point and really shows a lot of aspects of the college
Ok i've seen a lot of video tours, and this is by FAR the best!! Great work
Straight to the point. This is perfection. Thank you so much!!

I just got accepted and ugh, I love how quick this is! EVERYTHING LOOK SO NICE TOOOOO.
Honestly - wish things were more open this year so could've redone it! But yes - its nice!
@@craving2create I see I see, still pretty great though!
Wow great video!! Prefect way to see a campus in a short time!
How amazing it is! I came to Davis every summer and winter in the last 3 years. This video is very helpful!
Thank you do much dude. I walk around the campus a lot and I cant recall a time where I didnt get lost. This helped a lot
Glad to hear!
AHH! This was so good and just got me even more hyped to go to Davis this fall! Go Aggies!!!
Great vid, Alex, those transitions were awesome!
Best college tour ever I love the quick snaps of each place and you explained it perfectly
I've binged nearly all the campus tour videos and this is the best by far!
Alex Fisher-Wagner What are some pros or cons about UCD?
Alex Fisher-Wagner Awesome! Thanks so much!! Your videos are super helpful!
wow watching this makes me want to go here even more. fingers crossed i get off the waitlist for UCD
this is great! I'm laughing at some of the similarities to the video I'm working on right now lol I even sat on the egghead in front of mrak for it omg lol

This was awesome. May transfer here in the fall!
Good info to know considering i am a freshman at harper in davis and will be going there in the future
I visited in December 2016 and my sister hit the gong and we were so afraid we were going to get in trouble. seeing you do it makes me feel better though it was almost 1.5 years ago. PS, I love your videos!
Ah! Love this!! I'm transferring to UCD and this made me even more hyped!
Damn, that rolling shutter thooooo ;)
0:46 How did you get up there? I would be too scared to do that lol
Tough decision and last minute decided UCI but this video made me fall in love with Davis! Wish I could go to both schools

Are students allowed to roller skate on campus? As in skating where the bikes are being ridden?
If you don't mind me asking, what were your high school GPA and SAT Test scores?
Incoming freshman. CANNOT WAIT.

You'd fit right in with the mexicans around here. They're pretty chill and accept pretty much everyone, as long as you show respect.
Recently got accepted into UC Davis, hopefully I join yall next fall :D
🙌
hmmmm where do I tag uc Davis or Irvine hmmm cow farm or OC?????
omg I love this!! I'm so excited to come here as a freshman in the fall :-)
I just got in UC Davis! I have questions in regards to being a transfer student, will classes resume back on campus for fall 2021?
Congrats! And it sounds hopeful 🤞
Also how’s the housing situation? Since I live in LA and I’ve never visited the campus before, I want to know if I can find a way to secure housing for me. I appreciate your response.
I live by Davis California, ok really want to go there after i complete my general Ed at community college. What's the standers for being accepted !
Great video! where is that ucdavis grand sign located? the very first shot. thanks!
Alex Fisher-Wagner Thanks!
Ahhh I'm so excited to be attending UC Davis 😁
Dont go it is a scam.
Where exactly is the location of the big UCDavis Yellow sign in the beginning of your video?
Hey Alex, For transfer students, how do they rent the apartments? what is the process?
I love this Im definitely applying for tag for Davis!
Ommgggg I just got accepted as a transfer and this was so informative! Thank you!
What are good dorm room items to have that are allowed?
Hey Alex , could you do a video about the social life (party scene lol) at UC Davis ? Thanks !
Can we pick our own roommates and hall?
Yes to the first, and no to the second

I've wanted to go to Davis for years now.....this just made me wanna go more 🤣
Just got accepted I’m so excited to go to Aggie Weekend!!
what were your A levels grades and SAT scores?
Just curious, i plan to apply :)
How is UC Davis' education program? I'm considering doing teaching as a career but I don't really know much about the program in Davis.
where can I row
Hi!!, I have an American nationality but I live in Mexico, I studied high school here and now I want to go back to U.S. Can I enter to UCD without any problem?
I want to do a video just exaclty like this one, same transitions and stuff. But at UC Riverside lol
Alex Fisher-Wagner any tips or advice on how to do it?
do you know much about the honors program? i got admitted to ucd and their honors program recently and was wondering if it is worth it..i know we would be living in currant hall which i dont see in any video
so i just got into Davis but Ive never visited the campus in person. I heard that it’s a town vibe rather than rural, but I dont know
Alex Fisher-Wagner by any chance, do you know how the engineering school is?
I would love to commit to UC Davis but I feel that I have made a mistake choosing my major. Is it hard to change majors?
I'm going there for a sleep over with my whole school or whtever it is a field trip we stayin over night
Hey, do you think that getting a double or triple is better? And what type of bike is the most compatible?
I’m not going to Davis, but I’ll be goin to sac state. Hoping to make friends at Davis

Very well made video!
Out of the three freshman dorms, which one would you recommend staying at based on social life, quality of rooms, etc?
I would say segundo. I live in tercero and it’s crowded.
Time to study this video for when i go to davis
Is it easy to make friends at UC Davis?
Y’all I need answer, so do we have to take 2 or 3 years of language class in high school to attend uc davis??
Alex Fisher-Wagner thank you so much!! But a 2 years still okay right??
just getting the sight on youtube bc I know I won't get accepted to see it myself
Hey there alex! I’ve been watching your videos since I’ve been accepted to UC Davis to better prepare myself for the incoming fall! 0:43 the PPL WHO TURNED AROUND AT ROCK HALL! LMAO
I wanna go here for Vet school!
Unique Concept
Thank
what sort of things do i need to care for applying as a master student. i'm Asian too :D
Which dorm is better Tercero or segundo?? Also ur vids are really great and I really appreciate them
I'm from KSA and I'm considering this university to get my master's degree from. I have so many questions.
Looks dope
Just got accepted but I have a question....I live 6 hrs away from Davis by car, so where can I park my car if I drive there and stay in a dorm
They have parking lot for dorms
You can't park on the street because you have to have a permit says that you are a person who lives in the city itself not a student who just wants to park there because you have a class
I used to live in dorm and park my car there
Love ❤️ UC Davis
Is there any way incoming freshmen can have a single dorm ?
Great video! What do you think about being wait-listed to UC DAVIS? Is it a rare chance to be accepted while on the list?
What happens if you’re an English student coming over?
Alex Fisher-Wagner yes
Nice!
Thanks!
i haven’t realized our school have game center..- -
I was afraid I wasn’t going to make any friends but that’s not a problem here as long as you try. UC Davis is the place to be.
great video!
I'm not in highschool yet, Because I'm just in middle school, but when I graduate I want to go to uc Davis because I went there for a fuild trip in elementary :>
Hi! Great content. Could you make a video about the school of law?
I used to live there
Applying for Fall 2019 :D
Hector350125 did you get in? i just did!!
@@riyagupta8101 so did I !
Applied for transfer, hope I get in
Yoo me too! I got in! L.A. bound to NorCal 😁
They sent me a clarification notice this Friday, so I suppose it delayed my admission decision, congrats to everyone who has already been admitted! 🤞
