How to sew a badge onto your Girl Scout uniform

This is how I hand-sew ribbon-edged/satin-edged/wrapped-edged badges and patches.
I use this technique for GSUSA earned program badges for all levels and troop crests.
I also use this technique for Scouts BSA merit badges, position patches, and council ID badges.
I will typically use this technique for any badge or patch that has a nice fluffy, embroidery thread wrapped edge on it.
