LOVE! I've seen a few tutorials on how to get the most "human hair"-like goddess locs and most are either too complicated and/or expensive. Your tutorial is by far the easiest and it looks really good. 👍 Great Job!
So agree locs are meant to look messy, but so many pple reinvented to look neat to the point that it took away its original cultural look. I must say though your dreads do look nice
Did you use the exact same types of hair she used? My stylist keeps on telling me that it’s not possible to get the same look using the same types of hair used in this video because the hair will slide. Is that true??
The longer I kept mine in, the less plastic looking it became 🤣. But I'm definitely going to take my bed head ones out and try your method! It looks really soft as well👍
Girl thank you .. I just watched this one and your newest.... both are gorgeous but I love this one because it's more messy and not silky. Just what I was looking 4
Great job ! I did these on a friend last night super gorge but with the hair seems it’s dangling a lot already and some of the dreads are sticking to one another is this normal ? Any suggestions
I am so going to try this later today!! the good thing is that tomorrow is a holiday so I have some time :) thank you for this beautiful tutorial!!! especially the idea to use freetress hair to wrap around the hair!
Thank you for this tutorial babygirl! 💕 they didn’t have freetress at my store so I got Bobbi Boss in the same texture & color . Hopefully it comes out the same lol
Hi, just wondering why you chose to wrap with Bohemian hair instead of hair with a rougher texture. Does it feel different, give it a different look, etc? Also you mentioned you used color 33 in the middle of the video and and at end of the video you said you used color 4. Which one is it?
sweetdix I listed all the details in the description box. I used the technique from another UA-camr I saw and I like the look of the results with the bohemian it looks more realistic
aww thanks soo much, that means a lot :). & I like to wear a satin cap at night so that it doesn't get frizzy. And mine weren't that heavy to were I was at a discomfort. Thanks love
This is beautiful! When you were wrapping did you cut the Bohemian hair to create the multiple shorter pieces? Or does the hair get that short after distressing?
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen omg !! The piece of hair right before you started wrapping did it already come distressed like that or did you make it like that?
Thanks. That's my struggle! It'll be 4.5 weeks next week when I'm home and have the opportunity to take them out. So I'm wondering if I should take them out...or wait until I get back from my BIG trip in december, which will make it 8 weeks. I have NEVER kept a style for longer than 4 weeks, so I'm nervous...
Damn, you look gorgeous! How do you wash your hair with locs? Also, do you think a white girl could pull off this look? I'd like to know your opinion :D
I didn’t leave it in long enough but I would just mainly focus on the scalp , there should be some videos on that though . && yeah I think you would be able to pull it off. The more you distress it the more natural it looks keep that in mind 😘❤️
This turned out so beautifully! I am glad you went with #4 color bc it's very earthy and charming.
LOVE! I've seen a few tutorials on how to get the most "human hair"-like goddess locs and most are either too complicated and/or expensive. Your tutorial is by far the easiest and it looks really good. 👍 Great Job!
M Tromp thank you. I really tried to make it as simple as possible
the color is everything.
I love how yours came out. They look like Megan Good's. This is how I want mine.
Diana Brown thanks so much . That’s the look I was achieving I’m so happy it came out this way. I prefer the distressed look over the neat locs ❤️
sunkissedcurls Right! The distressed locs look way better than the neat ones.
So agree locs are meant to look messy, but so many pple reinvented to look neat to the point that it took away its original cultural look. I must say though your dreads do look nice
This is exactly how i want my hair wonderfully made
I followed this step by step and it turned out beautiful. Thank you.
Did you use the exact same types of hair she used? My stylist keeps on telling me that it’s not possible to get the same look using the same types of hair used in this video because the hair will slide. Is that true??

Valerie OnTheVerge thanks 😊 & same here I don’t like the uniform look either not really realistic looking to me
The longer I kept mine in, the less plastic looking it became 🤣. But I'm definitely going to take my bed head ones out and try your method! It looks really soft as well👍
Girl thank you .. I just watched this one and your newest.... both are gorgeous but I love this one because it's more messy and not silky. Just what I was looking 4

Hey hunni! Quick question. The hair you used to wrap the braids, did you cut those in half as well?
Natasha hey , and no I used the entire length to wrap it around
How long do the locs hold? Beautiful job!
They held pretty well but I only kept them in for like 2 weeks
This is beautiful! When you were wrapping did you cut the Bohemian hair to create the multiple shorter pieces? Or does the hair get that short after distressing?
Colorme_Quin yeah I did . I cut it in half to create more pieces

Queen Tee how many packs of each hair you used?
Did you have issues with your locs sliding with the hair that you chose to use?
yeah that happened to a couple, I just went back and reattached them, I don't think I wrapped them around enough times.
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen omg !! The piece of hair right before you started wrapping did it already come distressed like that or did you make it like that?
Sydnie Lewis no I wish it came like that lol would’ve saved me a lot of time lol but no I did it

So I'm wondering if I should take them out...or wait until I get back from my BIG trip in december, which will make it 8 weeks. I have NEVER kept a style for longer than 4 weeks, so I'm nervous...

It's not that heavy, but I mean if you have a lot of locs and you try wearing a bun then yeah, it gets a bit heavy after a while

Autumn Nash no they were already pretty flexible
Damn, you look gorgeous! How do you wash your hair with locs? Also, do you think a white girl could pull off this look? I'd like to know your opinion :D
Girl!! Of course a white girl could pull it off! I've seen many!
I didn’t leave it in long enough but I would just mainly focus on the scalp , there should be some videos on that though . && yeah I think you would be able to pull it off. The more you distress it the more natural it looks keep that in mind 😘❤️
