Hey Brother any video that you get to put out is a great video. You and landon bring back some great memories of me and my Son fishing together. Thanks for sharing
@Hagen Grubbs Fishing Hagen thank you for putting it out even if you had your doubts. I read a lot these comments, and believe most of your viewers would watch you Landon plant potatoes. We like your fishing, to be sure, but we are invested in YOU, your son, your experiences. You represent more of us than you will know this side of the veil, and we will watch you no matter what you’re catching (or NOT catching!).
I got several pictures of that damn. Always wondered what all was swimming below it. Thanks for taking me on your adventure there. Answered some of my wondering. 😊👍
The Catfish content is great. Personally I click every video to learn life lessons. 1 how to be a great respectable man 2 a great role model for your son 3 a drama free GOD loving man that just wants to connect with others. Great video as always
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can stream all the new movies on Instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last days :)
Anything is on the plate there. Good to have a right hand young man like Landon, ( saved the boat). I think the 🐈 brought luck. Thanks so much for sharing your life, my son and I both are fans
Great video! Lots of people are not fans of catching drum - but pound for pound, they usually put up a great fight. And here in Missouri, I’ve had more than one occasion to filet off a side and use that for catfish. Not my “go-to” but it works when bait is REALLY hard to come by.
Hi Hagen I really like your show , I haven’t seen a new show in a while . Give it your all , you will make it big. One item to implement to your show that will make it explode in views “drones”. Make a 45 second view of your fishing area that you’ll be , fishing and explain your intentions and strategy using the drone and it will make your views triple , yes triple!
I love to fish like this more than anything! It's how I learned how to catch everything! After a few years of following the fish you'll just "know". I toss a cat rod and have a jig rod and something for crankbaits and spinnerbaits. I try to get it all in! Fun video 😎
I love jigging behind our local spillway, like you say never know what your gonna catch. I run big swim baits for flatheads it's like jigging for train cars, they only bite for a couple weeks but when they're in there I'm there too.
I live close to Wolf Creek dam and I work Dale hollow and Wolf Creek bows usually always catch something. I've seen that have my best luck on nightcrawlers
Pretty nice hybrid u guys caught. I bet he fought like crazy!!! Ive been catching nice hybrids outta the Ohio River using mussels from walmart. Awesome bait.
Excellent video Hagen! I love a good multi-species video, I need to do some more crappie videos just to mix it up. On a side note, tell me about the foam covers on your go pros, are they helping with wind noise? I have been seeing them on amazon. How hard are they to take on and off for battery changes?
Its nice to change it up every now and then, hope to see you and Landon down in Carrollton or up at the big bend sometime. Check out Craig's creek some time just above markland dam
That poor cat needs some food to gnaw on. Saw that one vid where it snagged one of your shad and pulled it under the front deck. Good cat- it likes to fish! How do you get to that ramp, Hagen? I fished Cumberland last month. My brother & I limited out. Was a great day and caught some flatheads & a smallmouth almost 4#. We were using alewife for bait.
I actually prefer it when you change it up gets different species of fish because that's the way I fish for anything that's going to fight also if you would use some bigger lures you would have cut some bigger striper I'm very familiar that water
Bring Landon back to Loudon dam for some big stripers. Drifing with live 5"+ threadfin and gizzards or whole live skipjack are absolutely deadly. Or anchoring below melton hill with fresh cut and live skips. Both hold lots of stripers from end of may til september
No. If it was a muskie there would've been way more damage and muskies can't make round holes like on the trout. Don't really know what can do that besides lamprey eels. The spotted bass could've been bitten by a huge bass or a striper.
Surprised you didnt catch any skipjack, maybe they're not there yet. Also, next time you are there bring some worms and you can catch a sturgeon or two!
I cat fish and love watching the cat fish videos but honestly I just like to see fishing vids period. I don’t bass fish at all but find myself always watching bass fishing vids, go figure. Good content keep em comming
Same here, I never bass fish either but I watch a lot of bass tournament videos here on UA-cam, gotta respect those guys skill. thanks for watching man👍
That's my kind of fishing. I'll always be throwing out some kind of artificial while my catfish baits are soaking. Never know what I'm gonna catch. Take care
I'm a kentucky poor man fisherman, using jawbone baitcasting combo w/2 pi rod 6'.6", with 20lbs line. $49.99 can't bet it. Just saying. Bank fishing rivers, lakes & creeks, catch and clean and cook hem.
Next time you're at the wolf creek dam and you catch a trout try using it on a freeline rig. You'll catch the biggest stripers you've ever seen. And if there's any giant largemouth around you'll catch them too. Just don't show or tell anyone. Keep it on the downlow.
I want to compliment you on Landon's behavior. He is such a good kid. I like when he said " I dont know much about bass" . Well i know he probably knows more than most. Keep up that positive attitude Landon. Your behavior not only says a lot of things about you but it says a lot about your Dad. You and him seem inseparable which is so nice to see. I was always told it is a heck of a lot easier to be kind and courteous to someone than it is to be a rude jerk. Landon you have a pretty darn nice Daddy too. Im out.
Yes, I should have mentioned that in the video incase anyone else decides to go. A lot of people are unaware of this. When I first started going I had no idea. Thank you for bringing it up and thank you for watching👍
Hey Brother any video that you get to put out is a great video. You and landon bring back some great memories of me and my Son fishing together. Thanks for sharing
Appreciate that man, I debated on putting this one out all week. Finally just went with it. Thanks for watching
@@hagengrubbsfishing Im glad you did your a well rounded fisherman and it shows . Keep that kid close and keep him outdoors brother.
@Hagen Grubbs Fishing Hagen thank you for putting it out even if you had your doubts. I read a lot these comments, and believe most of your viewers would watch you Landon plant potatoes. Great Video Fellas! I love to do that kind of "Lats See What Happens" fishing from time to time! We all love adventure!
Love watching your videos. It's awesome seeing you fishing with your son. Me and my dad still fish together. I'm 42 and he's 71. So keep it up

Well Mr Grubbs,
You just proved that i will watch a video without catfish in it AND like it👍👍👍
Thanks for taking us 😀
Huge fan of this channel!
Also, I love cats, so when the stray cat shows up, that makes my day. 👍
The fun of exploring new waters and types of fish is awesome. Keep up the awesome work. Love your videos
Cool to see something different buddy. I think targeting different species gives you diversity and improves you as a catfish angler
Your video are always great to watch love the stray cat and excitement Landon has very enjoyable
any type of fishing video is a great one. God Bless!
Great day on the water. Just catching fish

I love jigging behind our local spillway, like you say never know what your gonna catch. I run big swim baits for flatheads it's like jigging for train cars, they only bite for a couple weeks but when they're in there I'm there too.
I love seeing the boat cat

My favorite trips! Going for whatever
That cats seen more miles than most radials.
Does the cat travel in your truck to & from the lake, most cats would freak out traveling 👈
Yes sir!!

Fishing for whatever is my favorite way to fish. Anything caught on rod and reel is a blast. 👊
Very nice video Sir! Enjoyed it!
There's a lot of strugeon there to. They are very fun to catch

Looked like fun ! Take care
Those are fun trips. Great to see y’all catching a variety. On a side note, what are the chances of naming the cat “Slicker”😂😂😂. Bon peche fellas!!!!
Great video enjoy all of them
Looked like a lot of fun Hagen.
The hole looks like it's from a lamprey eel.
Bring Landon back to Loudon dam for some big stripers. Drifing with live 5"+ threadfin and gizzards or whole live skipjack are absolutely deadly. Or anchoring below melton hill with fresh cut and live skips. Both hold lots of stripers from end of may til september
Nice spotted bass.
Cool fish. That trout must have had to be caught by Eagle
Any Muskie around there? I think that’s what bit the trout and spotted bass. IMO
No. If it was a muskie there would've been way more damage and muskies can't make round holes like on the trout. Don't really know what can do that besides lamprey eels. The spotted bass could've been bitten by a huge bass or a striper.

Enjoy your videos Hagen. You should come ger some saltwater here in Texas! You would love it.
Loved this video! I Ike doing this too. So much fun
The stripers will be on the other side if the wall looking for the shad that are getting pulled through the dam along with smaller skipjack herring.
Dadgum a snagged drum great video
I wish my cat would go fishing with me. Hahaha
The Dam must be monster fish there....it so amazing dam in US, I wish one-day I can fhising there, from me Balinese Lady Angler
I wonder if it was a lamprey that got a hold of that trout!
That's definitely a lamprey bite
I'm a kentucky poor man fisherman, using jawbone baitcasting combo w/2 pi rod 6'.6", with 20lbs line. $49.99 can't bet it. Just saying. Bank fishing rivers, lakes & creeks, catch and clean and cook hem.
Do u do trips for fans would love to go out and fish with you
There's definitely catfish there my biggest catfish was 78 lb come out of the Cumberland River
Just as you pull the trout out of the water... it looks like there is a lamprey attached to it.... thus the fresh wound.
I live in the northeastern part of ky. would love to come down and fish with you all sometime.
Good job👌
Looks like a lamprey got that trout.
Great video

This question is unrelated to the video........Does the bumping technique work with live bait such as shad or bluegill?
Love the channel im from catfish daves page.I reside in cincinnati.i Beat stage 4 lung cancer in recent.Id love to catch a monster with ya's.
Fish coming through generators may get hit and takes chunks took out of them?
Was this in Cumberland ky?
Yes, thank you for watching
@@hagengrubbsfishing cool, I’m from ky as well
I think that trout may have had a Lamprey attached to it causing that wound?
When I toss a hook in the water. I'm tickled just to have a bite !!!
Thou I do prefer catfishing !!!!!
Sometimes you just have to do something different

Was that first fish a war mouth?
Not being smart but did you know fishing below wolf creek dam you have to have a trout permit even if you don't keep any...
Yes, I should have mentioned that in the video incase anyone else decides to go. A lot of people are unaware of this. When I first started going I had no idea. Thank you for bringing it up and thank you for watching👍
Do you do catfish noodle videos?
are drum good to eat
So who is going to adopt that cat
feed the little kitty a catfish
Lamprey might have caused that hole 🤷♂️
Trout fish.
