5 TIPS TO START FISH FARMING IN ZAMBIA AS A BEGINNER LIKE ME | MY STORY

Hi everyone,
In this video, I give you basic tips to start fish farming in Zambia as a beginner. Am not a pro but I started , you can start too. Fish farming is very interesting, my favourite part of it all is the feeding and being growth every week. its like a child. In this video, I means "My husband and I" he is not a social media person. Hope you get encouraged.

Have been reading through the comments and such huge interest from our local people (Zambians) is very encouraging and worth it. Who knows we may soon do away with importing fish......

Hi polluted water might not be good for fish. But do test it because even chlorine in water is not good for fish

Hi, the size of each pond is 40 by 10. you can go bigger if you want others do 50 by 50 but we have found that smaller ponds are easier to manage incase something goes wrong. depth is 1.5 on deeper end and 1.2 on shallow end

Thank you so much. What happens to the pond during rainy season especially with heavy rains. How do you manage that?
How long does it take from fingerlings to fish ready for sale. May God continue to bless your work.

The water goes out through the overflow of the water outlet but if its too heavy sometimes you may need to get in and bend the outlet to let more water out. Hope am explaining well. For fingerlings to mature its 6 months but ours took longer than 6
