I went with the 1fg cuz I like a little weight back there to save me from those bumps at the turns. I like it while saving $700 And keeping the “sleeper” look at the same time.
Sounds nothing like this (1FG) in real life.... Can AWE give me some mechanical reasons as to how a break in period will actually make a difference...? As of now I hate it! Bought it based on AWE’s UA-cam videos.
Molecularly - the heat cycling of the steel will change the resonance of the tubes. Mechanically, the packing in the resonators is of a bespoke mix that is of premium quality, which will expand / fluff up as it's broken in over the course of 1000 miles. Once the packing material expands, the exhaust note will smooth out significantly. Break in process is critical with our resonators. The good stuff -- i.e. what is inside the resonators -- needs its time to morph into "final form". Once broken in, you will sound like our videos.
@@NoonMight ya right I know people with those trucks after a short period of time they aren't impressed with the gas mileage! don't blow smoke! Just like Toyotas from years back until now you think but the difference isn't worth it!

Awesome product lousy truck it's REALLY hard to make anything less than a V8 sound good!
And have good mpg? Lol no, I’ll take a twin turbo performance over “a good sound” any day
