What is the complete weight of this wing? I am deciding between this and Polygon as my first wing. Polygon is 3.1kg and I can’t find the weight for this one anywhere. Since I plan to air travel a lot, it needs to be fairly light.
Mares has new Weight System for XR. Just on their web a week or two ago. Pinch clips to open versus the Velcro. Going to change mine when I can find them in the wild.
I have the Mares XR Silver Knight BPW and the handle works pretty well; I recommend using it while holding onto the tank valve when moving your setup so you have two hands on everything, otherwise it is sturdy.
You are a hilarious salesperson. Why the heck would I buy a full kit Ig you are promoting to customise it? Please don't be misleading and tell viewers that it's cheaper to start from Scratch if you want to make up your own custom system.
well for future proofing, a newer diver might want something simple that can be used out the box and that they can customize in the future when they get more experienced or venture into tec diving ect.
Hello there @Simply Scuba. I have a question reg this back plate. Do I need additional back trim weight pockets or not?
It would be nice to add them so you can have better trim

Love mine. I put an Atomic AI on mine.
That grey color is very disappointing... I hv a mares XR blue battle .... Much more attractive.
Don’t use the handle with a tank. Doesn’t seem that robust.
Work great
@@shlomi_hai_levy you are using the handle with a cylinder attached? Steel or Aluminum?
With the aluminium plate
@@shlomi_hai_levy sorry which cylinder are you lifting with the handle. Steel or Aluminum cylinder?

everybody: let's reduce the amount of plastic packaging (Apex, XDeep, Fourth Element ...)
Mares in meantime: plastic is cheaper🖕
mine came without any plastic, just inside a cardbordbox (purchased, June 23, Germany)
