Charismatic Leadership
Baldemar Rodríguez (1941 - 2015) was the seventh and second-longest serving Bishop President of the Apostolic Assembly. He was born in Santa Rosa, Texas, on February 4, 1941 to Luis and Soila Rodríguez. Raised in a family of musicians, he came to the Lord at the age of twenty when his father died of cancer in 1961. In 1965 he married our sister Homa Lee Candelaria. A charismatic preacher, the leadership soon saw great potential in him: He was quickly ordained, served as Sector Elder and later as Bishop Supervisor in the South Texas District (1971 - 1975) and Southeast Texas District (1975 - 1979). Later he would become Bishop Supervisor for the Interior District of California and Nevada for seven years (1987 - 1994).
“Run Church, Run!”
Bishop Rodríguez was a talented musician and hymn writer, composing many hymns like “Cuando Cristo me hallo” and “Quiero orar al Padre” in his Tejano style. His election in 1978 was a welcomed surprise by the pastors and people of the Apostolic Assembly. His first (1978) and last sermon (2002) at a General Convention was: “Run Church, Run!” Bishop Rodríguez’s leadership saw many districts established, the first General Conventions in Texas and New Mexico, and he expanded the Apostolic Assembly in numeric growth here in the United States and abroad. He graduated with a Master of Divinity (M. Div.) degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. The Lord called him to his presence on July 30, 2015 at the age of 74.

Such a good faithful brother this man was. But it was wrong for what happened to him the general board kicking him out for saying what was right out of the assembly his own church. That same thing happened to my great grandpa Rev. Celso Medrano that worked hard in the 1930s when he came into the assembly and evangelizing bringing in people, and was given no credit by bro Antonio Nava. And bro Nava kicked him out because his wife committed adultery on him and so he excommunicated him out of the assembly

I think it's for good for the people to see that it's not about organizations and denominations.
My father was also excommunicated. He had a very fast growing church in the north texas district in the mid-90s.
My dad's church got the assembly headquarters attention when they saw the money he was bringing in and the properties he bought for the church to continue to grow.
They even wanted to have a crusade take place at that church in that time.
Then some girl came along, tried to swindle my good old pops and the rest is history.
That church is still there but it never grew the way we all had envisioned. That vision seemed to have died right then and there.
The best advice is to keep on trucking cause even all those good moments that we remember, most of those people are also gone.
I'm personally bored with how churches are run these days. The music is garbage and completely depressing. Most churches don't even really study the bible and have some quasi rendition of a Joel Osteen sermon, with a little bit of speaking in tongues here and there. It's silly.
I have met very few people that continue to inspire me. Some have died. Some went off the deep end and jumped the Trump bandwagon. And still others are stil here, continuing to inspire and challenge and I cherish every moment with those humble folks. But most of all, I'm thankful that I found my purpose in life and I have no organization to thank. For that credit belongs to God and God alone.
And when people will realize that it's God who does the working... Well what does the Bible say? He will open up the floodgates of Heaven, even in one's personal life.
Amazing that means bro Nava had Catholic ideas and lacked knowledge of the scriptures , Excommunicating a pastor because of the wife ‘s wrong doing? where is that in the scriptures. One thing we need to understand is that UPC and Apostolic are awesome organizations yes, but we have cause much division in the body of Christ , simply cause we are taught that . We disqualify all the trinitarian movements because of the water baptism lol which is hilarious but sad at the same time. So this divisions and “kicking out “ ministers is a something that they sowed .Oneness movements are about the 10% of the body of Christ, now we brand them unsaved no wonder the other 90 percent call us a Cult .The only solution for the church today is harmony and unity, but we say No! The Holy Spirit says well guys I can use the tribulation for that , how about it church?

In his sermon titled, “The personality of the Holy Ghost” Charles Spurgeon preached...”You give up the Trinity, and your tacklings are loosed, you cannot strengthen your masts. Once give up the doctrine of three persons, and your tacklings are all gone; your mast, which ought to be a support to your vessel, is a rickety one, and shakes. A gospel without the Trinity! it is a pyramid built upon its apex. A gospel without the Trinity! It is a rope of sand that cannot hold together. A gospel without the Trinity! then, indeed, Satan can overturn it.”
The Oneness teaching is not the original Orthodox Christian doctrine of the Godhead that dates back many centuries ago, but it is an altered version that originated approximately 100 years ago. The apostolic Pentecostal and UPC churches emerged from the 1906 Azusa pentecostal movement and they’ve completely altered the original Christian orthodox doctrines. If the oneness doctrine is true, then that would mean that all the historic figures in Christianity are false. For example, out the door goes Martin Luther, Mathew Henry, Saint Augustine, C. H. Spurgeon, John Knox, the Wesley brothers, Billy Graham, CS Lewis, George Whitefield, Jonathan Edwards. Out the door goes the Quakers, Puritans the Reformers. Out the door goes countless scholars and theologians. I can go on and on. If the oneness doctrine is right, then all these respectable men in Christian history would have to be wrong because these men believed in the original orthodox doctrine of the trinity. Also, many apostolic and united Pentecostals believe that when a person dies, they go to sleep until the final judgment or Resurrection. Thus denying the doctrine of the soul’s eternal immortality for its destination to either heaven or hell. This false teaching removes hell out of hell. This is exactly what Satan wants people to believe. If he can get you to doubt the Biblical truth about Hades (1Pet 3: 19-20) then that means that there are no consequences for sin. No consequences for sin, then no justice. No justice, then no redeemer. No redeemer then no Savior. No savior then no Jesus. No Jesus then no eternal life.
Furthermore, the oneness apostolics removed the Son of God out of the Son of God by declaring that Jesus is the Father. But look at what 1 John 2: 22-23 says, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Also, the oneness doctrine removed the Great Commission out of the Great Commission by erasing Christ’s words which says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matt 28:19. The UPCI and AAFCJ and all oneness churches are false doctrines and gross heresies that contradict the original orthodox historic Christian doctrines. Please pray that God would reveal His unchangeable truth to you.
Why are you on this video posting this? If you're all about the Holy Trinity, then God the Holy Spirit would have told you that posting such a thing is a very inappropriate thing to do when this video is to commemorate the life of a well loved man. Whether you agree with his teachings or not, it's a very very stupid thing to be posting on this video.
@@migol1984 If I offended you, I apologize. I just know that many people in the Apostolic Assembly church are deceived. The disagreement is not the issue of one God. We believe that there is but only One God. The disagreement is in the three persons in one God. So brother, when you guys sing the song. “How Great is our God.” do you guys delete the verse...“The Godhead Three in One Father Spirit Son.” in the hymn? Also, the AAFCJ places too much emphasis on the outward appearance. The outward appearance is no indication of the true condition of the heart in the sight of God. If God has not truly converted a person, by His mighty power, then that person’s sinful nature remains the same no matter how outwardly, moral, religious they seem to appear. They don’t belong to God.

It's all semantics and quite honestly, I think it's stupid on both accounts that over the years everyone still argues about it.
YOU ALL believe in the same God. And by you all, I mean all denominations. However you interpret it is between YOU AND GOD. But it's the SAME THING!
Enough of this "straying people from the truth". As far as I'm concerned I have seen some sincere and honest people in every denomination and I have no reason to believe that one is closer to God than the other based on what "denomination" or "doctrine" they ascribe to.
Which leads me to your other point. AAFCJ worries a lot about "outward appearance"?! Maybe so. Who cares? Is the AAFCJ the only denomination that does that? Why are you worried about them and not the others? If you think so, you are either willfully ignorant or a liar. Because, brother, I have seen superficial people on every level.
And I have my issues with the AAFCJ, some of which you and I may very well agree on. But I don't think it's in any sense relevant to this discussion, considering that you're talking about an issue that is clearly biased against the AAFCJ.
You know what has been one of my biggest issues with the AAFCJ? Is that they have conducted their services like any mainstream church, that is baptist, trinitiarian, etc. Strobe lights, projector screens! It looks like a concert and it is very superficial and generic. All the praise singers seem to be up there to show off their voices rather than singing a song from their hearts because they believe in something.
EVERY church has been following that trend. Frankly, it's boring.
Why don't you start worrying about the things that really matter? Instead of arguing with your fellow brethren, as flawed as they are, maybe go give your time to charity. And if you do it already, well double it, for saying nonsensical things on a page like this, that was made to remember a good man. Baldemar Rodriguez was a good man of God and he dedicated his entire flesh and bones to the ministry.
Stop with your biases. We aren't in some team rooting for who is right and who is wrong. We all belong to God.
@@migol1984 As Christians, whether we want to be bias or not, we must make a stand on what the word of God says. Unfortunately, brother we all don't belong to God. My dad use to say that all roads lead to Rome. (Meaning all roads lead to God) He was wrong. Only one road leads to eternal life. And that is only through Christ Jesus. The AAFCJ dishonors God by removing HIS complete and absolute sovereignty in the salvation of men. We are all enemies of God, only in Christ and by His blood we reconcile to God. But how does that work in the oneness doctrine brother? In the oneness doctrine, how does Christ the Son of God, become the mediator between God and man, If there is no distinction between the person: God the Father and the person God the Son? These concepts are deep. Only God can reveal this to people. As the apostle Paul writes, "What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded." Rom. 11:7 Take care brother.

Mucho dolor me causa el saber que ya no está entre nosotros. Dios tenía preparado un mejor lugar. Tuve la dicha de hablar con el en el 2014. Y siempre estaba muy animado en la obra del Señor!!!.
