I too grew up listening to Charlie Pride and country music in general. My brother started playing the guitar at 10 years old and he was a versatile singer with a beautiful voice.. We would have country music weekends and sing until our voices were hoarse. Unfortunately he went to be with the Lord nearly 2 years ago and when i miss him i play his recordings which are mostly Charlie Pride songs.💖
I was only introduced to Charlie just prior to me fathers passing. Dad was a huge huge fan…even sung a song to my mum at their engagement. Thanks dad, I enjoy Charlie’s music and your legacy lives on.
