THANKS MUCH for doing this video. It's a great preview of what to expect if I go there -- which I hope to do soon. It wasn't quite clear everything you got, but I assume I can call O-Ku and get either a specific or general idea of what they would serve me. It seemed like a tremendous amount of food (like 3-4 meals). Do you know what to expect so you can pace yourself? Is it bad form to take some of it home? I'm really tired of "ordinary" sushi and "ordinary" sushi experiences. The omakase seems like the ideal way to break out of that.
100% if you want to get a new experience and the best of the best. Omakase is usually the best option as a lot of times its not on the menu things but also with a special twist.
This is exactly how we like to dine at our favorite sushi spots. If you guys are ever in town, we gotta take you to Takashi's! I couldn't stop watching this one haha
I'm jealous you used to be one! I've always wanted to, but then again I don't think I could get myself to not eat what I was making haha. Do you still do it on occasion for the family?
Fantastic video. My dinner is Monday. Can't wait
You’ll love it!
@@DustinVang thanks man. When you get dynamic sushi. It's really above and beyond isn't it 🍣
Hey kinda random but do you happen to have footage of how they made the specialty nigiris? :) The salmon truffle ish fav and hoping to recreate it!
the chef is my brother, I can ask but idk if he will tell :)

How much was it and was it enough food?
It was 135$ I believe but prices may vary. It was way more than enough. Had a full belly after :)
