A visit to Mürren is always something special for me. Even if it's low season at the moment - I find exactly this time totally beautiful here. There are few people, nature awakens from hibernation and so you can enjoy a mountain walk in peace. Watch out! Mountain railroads have to make revision in between and control everything. Therefore, always pay attention to the timetable and consult the website of the mountain railroad:)

My wife and I enjoy watching your presentations. We are very excited as our trip nears (next Monday). We will fly from Boston to Zurich and then take the train to Interlaken. Her father’s family is from there; 9 generations from Unterseen. Her family has owned the Beausite Hotel for the last 90 years. We hope to take some of your walks when we are there (3 weeks) as well as visiting Lausanne, Torbel and Biel (more relatives). Happy walking!

I agree with you about that transition of the season when you can already see the green, but still some snow on the mountains. That is absolutely beatiful.
You know , when i was a child, a portuguese couple imigrated in Swizerland (they were my parents friends) brought me as a present, a huge box of Swiss chocolates. They were wonderful 😋. But what I most loved was the box because it had on the cover a beatiful picture precisily with this kind of landscape with the green and snow on the mountains. I remember that fascinated me and i used to spend lots of time looking at it while i was eating the chocolats😄.
Those houses are really beatiful. That place is so charming.

We were in Muerren in the summer. We took the cogwheel train up the mountain and then walked to Muerren. Had the best Schnitzel here, just delicious

Congratulations Ms Michel - a wonderful production. No selling, no music, just your laughing voice and joyful comments. Perhaps you should play Hitchcock's trick and give the viewer a half second shot of yourself before you sign off. Did you know Murren was the place where the first ever Alpine slalom was run?
And of course it's at the 'end of the line'. You can't really get anywhere from here.

This why I believe there is a GOD . This is just one grand design of GOD in this world . He kissed Switzerland after he created it and shaped it into one of the most magnificent places on earth . I’d love to live in Switzerland some day …but these places are in heaven also .

Lauterbrunnen is valley. Murren is mountains. I just hope all those hotels are anchored in bedrock. Cliffs make me nervous after watching California landslides.

Does this little village have a small grocery store .
I have noticed several building roofs have what we call a skylight can these be opened as a window/ Also if windows are open do you get a lot of bugs or mosquitoes inside?
