The song not only reminds me of early 2000s UK garage... But it also reminds me of early 2000s Japanese anime. Some of the opening and ending themes from early 2000s anime had a similar vibe, like the soft high-pitch vocals, ambient atmospheric sounds, and subtle glitchy effects at the end.
