I was a retail manager for 7 years and hated it so much. Then I got pneumonia around Christmas (which they wanted me to work) so I quit right then and there and got myself enrolled into the community college. 3 years later I am now at the University working on a Bachelor’s degree. I also found the courage to post my music here on UA-cam. Doesn’t get much attention, but I am glad I was brave enough to do it. Love your videos, man!

I have done an American Flag, Iron Man, Punisher, Baseball, Part 3 and Part 7 masks. I Followed all your step by step instructions and they all turned out pretty well. Well, been subscribed for quite awhile myself. As far as what I've taken a shot at, I make my own Jason masks on the cheap and put my first one up on Facebook. I tagged Kane Hodder in the post and asked what he thought. While I didn't get a comment or normal reply, I did get a response in the form of a thumbs up from Jason himself! That alone inspired me to stick with the hobby.

Last year I took a shot to paint someone a painting of 7 rappers on a 24x36 canvas when I'm used to just painting one portrait on 8x10s but it turned out well and took me a very long time to finish but the customer was happy with the finished product and I've been doing more big paintings since.

i took a shot at meeting one of my favorite actors, Tara Strong. she was going to be at the local comic con and i've always dreamt about meeting her. so in 2019 when she was scheduled to show up , i went down into the city and i made it my goal all of that day to meet her. and i'm glad to say that i did get to see her and got to tell her how much she meant to me and how much she shaped me in my youth. it was one of the best memories from that year i'll never forget.

I live in Cali and one thing I took a shot at was buying a bike and I worked hard everyday and earned money for a long time some days I felt that I probably wouldn’t get it but then in the end I finally and it’s all I do now I ride like everyday. That's absolutely sick dude. I was a tennis pro or instructor and took a chance at becoming a racquet stringer and customizer for the TOUR Players and met the guy and it would've lead to traveling the globe from tournament to tournament but just before it got going I was in a car accident and broke my back. Unfortunately it wasn't meant too be but I met a lot of cool people.

This year I decided to change my line of work because of covid. I took a shot at trying to get a school job as a cleaner trying to make custodian. So far I got the job as a cleaner and I start soon and I’m that much closer to making custodian.

I took a shot and applied at a police department even though I was 307lbs. I actually got hired on. I worked so hard and in 4 months I lost 70lbs. On the day of the police academy test i weighed in at 227lbs. I passed the physical and written exams. I have been a successful police officer for 7 years now. Perseverance and hard work pays off in the end!😁

I've taken plenty shots while target practicing but shotguns hurt my shoulder. Recently, I took a shot at playing the bass guitar for which I am doing great at age 71. Finally, I plan on taking a shot at golf since I sold a gun and bought a set of clubs and the bass with the money I got from the sale. Ps. I tried getting a job at ups and got hired immediately. It was around December and they let us use our own cars for delivery. It was a lot of work but it was worth it!

I quit my 84 hr week job and took a shot at my childhood dreams and started making masks full time. I make and customize Jason Voorhees masks as well as Leatherface and my own brand of scarecrow masks. It hasn't quite taken off, but that's expected. All I know is that I've been trying to do this for a long time and to know that my wife has my back and has invested her faith in me, it means the world to me.

I took a shot at going back to school to complete my certificate for welding. I had failed when I was young and dumb and wasted my moms money. But I got a chance to go back after my job closed down and I took that opportunity. Now I have a certificate in Industrial Welding. I start my new job tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I know that this isn't really big but I took a shot at my first Jason mask not to long ago. Now that in itself wasn't the biggest risk. The worst part was it was a jdf studios blank, so if I messed up there goes like 70 to 90 dollars down thw drain. It worked out tho because I could identify which movie it was supposed to be from. All jokes aside it actually looked really good for my first time, and I'd like to share it with you. I love what you do and will keep watching you because of your creative talent. You inspired me to try and make my own, and in the end it worked out pretty damn well.

Was paralyzed when I was born, I can walk now. I didn't want to be a burden to my family or friends so I forced myself to train my legs to walk. I hated the wheelchair and the leg braces. Now, I make Jason masks just like you and I couldn't do that or go out and get the materials on my own if i was always stuck in a chair so now I can walk up tot he mask and see what I can do. Because I took a shot and made it happen.

I took a shot at making a wing chun dummy out of a log a few years ago, I've always wanted one and when the opportunity arrived for me to make it, I asked the neighbor up the street if I could have the log that was in his gutter. He was nice enough to loud it up in his trailer and take it to my house, as you see from my picture the dummy turned out perfectly.

Hey just saying you can get a better blood look by mixing a few drops of purple as well as a few drops of blue with your main red base and it will come out much better!

I had to learn how to use my time and take a shot even if I don't make it I know that life is to short and you miss all the shots you don't take. that's why I want to take the risk and try to make something that will last I want to do something that will stick with people like make a movie that shows creativity and and a idea can work and just try to resonate with people even if I don't get to make movies ill still try like in sfx or costume design. It's like buckshot. Shotguns usually have slugs (one big solid bullet) or buckshot (a bunch of little BB or ball bearing type things) in them. In this case I think it looks cool to go the buckshot route, so the small holes are meant to be those BBs that spread out from the main grouping.

Big Hush, please do a fan-film using one of you're masks please! I would recommend you would use the Lake Bottom mask and the Part four mask! The fan-film could be about if Jason were to live among the Lake still. But you have to add some similarities with Halloween Kills in the fan-film, but not using Michael Myers...
I quit my job and move to Florida a few years ago to attend Full Sail and get a degree in film and video production. Did it pay off? That's still to be determined. I graduated but haven't found a job in the field yet but fingers crossed

Yes! Honestly it isn't necessary, but it saves time of having to scrape paint off the snaps later using a knife. Sometimes the buttons can still be force onto painted snaps even without scraping the paint off, but it's just much easier to cover the snaps from the beginning.

I was a retail manager for 7 years and hated it so much. Then I got pneumonia around Christmas (which they wanted me to work) so I quit right then and there and got myself enrolled into the community college. 3 years later I am now at the University working on a Bachelor’s degree.

Well, been subscribed for quite awhile myself. As far as what I've taken a shot at, I make my own Jason masks on the cheap and put my first one up on Facebook. Last year I took a shot to paint someone a painting of 7 rappers on a 24x36 canvas when I'm used to just painting one portrait on 8x10s but it turned out well and took me a very long time to finish but the customer was happy with the finished product and I've been doing more big paintings since.

i took a shot at meeting one of my favorite actors, Tara Strong. she was going to be at the local comic con and i've always dreamt about meeting her. so in 2019 when she was scheduled to show up , i went down into the city and i made it my goal all of that day to meet her. and i'm glad to say that i did get to see her and got to tell her how much she meant to me and how much she shaped me in my youth. it was one of the best memories from that year i'll never forget.

That's absolutely sick dude. I was a tennis pro or instructor and took a chance at becoming a racquet stringer and customizer for the TOUR Players and met the guy and it would've lead to traveling the globe from tournament to tournament but just before it got going I was in a car accident and broke my back. I took a shot at being a better me I lost my mother 3 years ago and wanted to give up on life but I'm still going strong and won't stop my goals in life so far have happened how I wanted them too! I took a shot and applied at a police department even though I was 307lbs. I actually got hired on. I worked so hard and in 4 months I lost 70lbs. On the day of the police academy test i weighed in at 227lbs. I passed the physical and written exams. I have been a successful police officer for 7 years now. Perseverance and hard work pays off in the end!😁

I've taken plenty shots while target practicing but shotguns hurt my shoulder. Recently, I took a shot at playing the bass guitar for which I am doing great at age 71. Finally, I plan on taking a shot at golf since I sold a gun and bought a set of clubs and the bass with the money I got from the sale. Ps. I quit my 84 hr week job and took a shot at my childhood dreams and started making masks full time. I make and customize Jason Voorhees masks as well as Leatherface and my own brand of scarecrow masks. It hasn't quite taken off, but that's expected. All I know is that I've been trying to do this for a long time and to know that my wife has my back and has invested her faith in me, it means the world to me.

Hell yeah a part 8 version, this reminds me of the SHOTGUN BLAST TO THE EYE Jason from a few years ago edit: I once took a shot at making a part 8 mask but I didn’t turn out well because all the paint was flaking off even if I sanded it down and primed it but I have made others too even a custom stitched Jason mask and a fan film Jason mask good luck to the people also trying to win this
I took a shot at going back to school to complete my certificate for welding. I had failed when I was young and dumb and wasted my moms money. But I got a chance to go back after my job closed down and I took that opportunity. Now I have a certificate in Industrial Welding. I start my new job tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I know that this isn't really big but I took a shot at my first Jason mask not to long ago. Now that in itself wasn't the biggest risk. The worst part was it was a jdf studios blank, so if I messed up there goes like 70 to 90 dollars down thw drain. It worked out tho because I could identify which movie it was supposed to be from. All jokes aside it actually looked really good for my first time, and I'd like to share it with you. I love what you do and will keep watching you because of your creative talent. You inspired me to try and make my own, and in the end it worked out pretty damn well.

Was paralyzed when I was born, I can walk now. I didn't want to be a burden to my family or friends so I forced myself to train my legs to walk. I hated the wheelchair and the leg braces. Now, I make Jason masks just like you and I couldn't do that or go out and get the materials on my own if i was always stuck in a chair so now I can walk up tot he mask and see what I can do. Because I took a shot and made it happen.

I took a shot at making a wing chun dummy out of a log a few years ago, I've always wanted one and when the opportunity arrived for me to make it, I asked the neighbor up the street if I could have the log that was in his gutter. He was nice enough to loud it up in his trailer and take it to my house, as you see from my picture the dummy turned out perfectly.

I had to learn how to use my time and take a shot even if I don't make it I know that life is to short and you miss all the shots you don't take. that's why I want to take the risk and try to make something that will last I want to do something that will stick with people like make a movie that shows creativity and and a idea can work and just try to resonate with people even if I don't get to make movies ill still try like in sfx or costume design. Hey, Big Hush. What are the tiny holes, that are along with the shotgun blast on Jason's hockey mask used for?
It's like buckshot. Shotguns usually have slugs (one big solid bullet) or buckshot (a bunch of little BB or ball bearing type things) in them. In this case I think it looks cool to go the buckshot route, so the small holes are meant to be those BBs that spread out from the main grouping.

I got a question why do u cover up the snaps is it so the straps go on easily
Yes! Honestly it isn't necessary, but it saves time of having to scrape paint off the snaps later using a knife. Sometimes the buttons can still be force onto painted snaps even without scraping the paint off, but it's just much easier to cover the snaps from the beginning.
