@@cl8804I thought about the labeling of it as shoegaze and while it may be a stretch, I'm ok with it. It's maybe not so much in the traditional sense and I assure you I'm first-hand familiar. With so countless many genre and categories crossing back and forth, I feel I could work Swervedriver, Lush and a few dream pop artists into a party setlist that would appeal to those attending. In this case it's still psychedelic, dreamy, somewhat distorted though now refined and with less guitar drive but offering a cleaner "noise." I appreciate that the vocals and the songwriting / lyrics from Night Tapes are intelligent and have direction enough to imagine a story behind it. More pleasant and approachable these days while remaining well underground. 🤷♂ I'm certainly no authority but do see enough to appreciate where this poster is coming from. /cheers, friends

me and a friend got really high on 420 and went on a mini road trip. we had a friend who was driving, sober, and when i put this song on the aux he got so immersed in it that we hit a bank and almost fell over the cliff side lol. we had to sit on the cliffedge for a while to get over it. one of my favourites :)
