- Now here's something that tends to get lost in the mix of over-the-air memories -- the old Pax network! When people mention Pax nowadays, you usually think of the gaming convention of the same name. But to this day, I still can't seperate the name "Pax" from this channel. Back before MeTV and endless pits of cable channels popularized reruns of classic shows, this was the go-to network for reruns or general family entertainment. I also remember watching a lot of game shows on this channel too; in fact, I have a junkload of game shows on this same tape. Here it was mostly classic drama shows, but I also have Supermarket Sweep, the 2002 revival of Beat the Clock, and Louie Anderson Family Feud. Exactly why I have any of that is way beyond my understanding (I wasn't in a family who was interested in archiving game shows), but I'm not gonna complain. This channel is now called Ion by the way and is pretty unrelated to Pax, so this is a bit of a relic of the past in that sense.
These commercials were aired during reruns of Scarecrow and Mrs. King, and Bonanza.

I have nooooo idea. I would doubt it, though I may come across one. I probably have some other random cable commercials too.

I don't remember the PAX channel to begin with, the first time I heard of it was from some Dish Network ad several years after the channel closed down.
