in official Lenovo page it says this model Lenovo ideapad 320-15AST accepts maximum 8GB RAM, my laptop already came with 8GB. So, I can really ignore this safely and install 16GB? CPU-Z says socket is DDR4-2666(1333MHz) not 2400.

If motherboards capacity is 8gb then you can't upgrade more than it. Don't do it
