PyeongChang 2018 Silver medallists and four-time world champions Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron have a signature style all of their own: "We're really committed to trying to do things that are coming from our hearts." At the 2020 European Championships, the duo was denied gold for the first time since PeyongChang but it hasn't rattled them. They're both great - how nice they talk about each other and I'm convinced they love and respect each other - they've found their way - we don't all have to belong in one box. Unfortunately, someone no understands that love can be expressed other than kisses - eyes, gentle hand touches, eye contact - their mutual friendship and love is stored deep in the soul - life is more beautiful when they are so positive, beautiful, sensitive and tender beings - they gave us so many wonderful moments that cannot be forgotten - these are the stars that will never go out for me ...

So wonderful to hear them both share their feelings about each other, their skating and their lives. A very special pair that's for sure! Gabby and Guillaume single handedly gave me back my love of figure skating, of watching it. Doesn't sound like much but it really is I had given up on watching and enjoying figure skating because of the sport's over focus on jumps especially in singles men and women. G&G's singular skating style engaged me and proved figure skating is not just about jumps and lifts, but the artistry and interpretation of the music and the feelings are important too. Thank you G&G! I wish you a very successful season! A grateful fan.

I mean...
They have nothing more to prove. A gold medal at the Olympics would be the icing on the cake for this record. But it is already excellent for a discipline where the period of activity is relatively short in international competition.
They are very vengeful and hardworking, Guillaume will continue to do Guillaume, very good/excellent job. Gabriella will not fault twice, her pride will push her to surpass herself to show their dominance in the discipline.
S/K have no interest in resting on their laurels, there will be no second chance like the one they had at the Europeans (plus, with a jury totally tampered)
, Gabriella will no fault another time and the commission has already settled the problem and we should not see a pro-Russian composition for a long, long, long time...
they are dance team - they usually do have rather long period of activity in international competition (luckily for all of us)
aaaaand here's the gold! (i hope they compete again in 2026)
