If the GI Joe O-Rings were established I would have collected those over classified starting back in 2020
While I have never handled an O-ring figure before and I am wary of the idea of a figure that relies on rubber to work, I appreciate the passion on display here. I like the retro "cartoony" style some companies used for their figures and how several made their figures to be more easily kitbashed and customized. And above all, more figures in this scale is always good. I just wish they were slightly more affordable/available, but that's the market I guess.
No need to be wary, o-ring figures are very durable and can hold up for decades. I am actually planning a video that discusses the differences between o-ring and modern 4”.

These new o ring figures must have swivel wrists, ball jointed ankles.
Just got my Skeletron O-Ring. He is fantastic. I mean he's beautiful. The packaging is spot on. The finish on the paint is a little different than 80s Joes. Not a complaint.

@@MacDowin btw if anyone asks, there'll be an update on Delta-17 soonish. There's been a hiccup getting the toys from our warehouse in Canada to the Fulfillment/Shipping hub in the US (paperwork... sigh...)

I think the Retros look like they would be very good quality. It's too bad it didn't fund.

I Love the Resurgence of 3 3/4 O Ring Figures! But, They All need to have the leg/thigh screws, so the legs don't get loose & constantly pop out of the ball joint. That's Really Annoying!😠
I agree. I think all of the o-ring lines except Strike Force Alpha have the leg screws.
@@MacDowin I think RetrOs & the Zica Pocket Troopers are the same way(w/out leg screws). The Alpha Figures had some really cool boots & feet on them, but when playing, the hips kept shifting to one side & popped out. I was sooo Disappointed over that.🤦🏾♂️
I can change the legs out & put Joe's legs in. I hope moving forward They will change that.🤞🏾
Great overview of the O-Ring Renaissance. It's a shame the Easy Kill 9 and Zica campaigns didn't fund but hopefully we'll get another chance at those.
I think they are regrouping. I have been seeing some “marketing” on Instagram lately for the Fist figures.
