  • After the last video, we got a lot of positive responses to our question as to whether we should show our paint sprayer cleanup method or not. So in order to do this, we needed to find something to paint. We decided to paint the base of our house. After three coats of paint, I'll show you my paint sprayer clean up method.
Amazon really let us down. The delivery of our deck screws for the #Camo hidden fastener system was delayed another week. With no time to waste waiting on Amazon, I decided to drive 137 miles round trip to pick up the screws at a Home Depot.

Have wanted to see a Gila Monster since I was a kid. So far no luck. Bill super sharp paint job. Yvonne's part was super neat looking. I agree whole heartedly, the two-toned look to the back deck area makes things stand out nicely. Way to go.

They would have really loved the baby Gila Monster we ran into the other day. Only about 10" long (adults are between 18 and 24") and I must admit, really cute.....like a chubby baby cute.

Ps - really appreciate the tutorial on cleaning the spray gun. Maybe I’ll get up the courage to work on painting my house. :)

I just bought a sprayer because I had about 40 large baseboards to paint in a short time so I took a chance and it was so much quicker and easier!! I am so glad you did this video because I tried following the directions for cleaning, but I wanted to make sure I did it correctly and I totally appreciate watching you use this tool to help me make sure I am using it correctly. Thank you!

Just saying, I am subscribed and belled for all and I've not had the previous 3 vids come onto my feed. I didn't think much of it because you had been recovering. I'll try and catch up. You aren't the only channel this is happening to. Let's just say that niche channels don't help YTs income streams. They'd rather run channels like your down in the hope that watcher select videos which appeal to advertisers. One way around this is to approach companies for things you plan to use or install in your house and tell them you'll do a fair and honest review. You might get a discount or even a freebie. 👍

Looks like a pretty good regiment. My only possible suggestion might be to add a dollar store toothbrush to your arsenal to aid you getting into those hard to reach places. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏼

what about adding a metal edge on top of the wood to separate the cobb from the wood? Nice job on the Paint, Guys!

Looks really Great, the color accent pops with that cedar. If I may suggest, running a bead of sealant over your seams will really help . Also, I use a small coating of Vaseline on those plastic threads for easier removal. 👍👍💚💛💜

Gonna try the Vaseline tip, thanks. That was the first time it was on there so tight ....of course, we were filming. 🤣

Looking sharp! I'm jealous of your Gila monster! lol I see them occasionally, but they're always so skittish that I've never even gotten a picture of one yet. On the other hand, I have a few tarantulae that are friendlier than I'd prefer so if you even need some at your place I know where you can come and get them! 🤠

Gila monsters are getting kinda common these days. I see them in the early morning, they’re always headed downhill. They seem to maintain about 100’ of separation. They have no fear, I had one walk up to the truck and when I stopped to let it go by, it tried to bite the tire.

i have a similar sprayer by Homeright. Its is awesome. i painted the entire eaves of my home in 2 hours,BUT masking took 3 hours. i saved about 5 or 6 hours overall. If you a painting surfaces at different angles its crazy fast. Dino

And it's great when the surface isn't perfectly smooth. A brush or roller would get hung up but the sprayer......ahhh.

Know nothing about a Gila monster. I take it they are mean after hearing they are vice griped jawed. Sure hope the pup stays safe! Awesome job done showing us how you painted up the bottoms then cleaning the gun. Looks like a nice gun for sure. How many mil did you lay that out at? Dang the luck on the screws. Online is not always the way to go. Hmm you pose to be recovering not straining your balls off there buddy. LOL.. Stay safe and have a great week!

Looking good guy's. Looking forward to seeing the sheeting come off and the cob and artwork unfold. I guess the rain is holding up progress to a degree. What are your plans for covering the straw bales inside? Will that be cob or plasterboard?

Take care of your tools & they'll take care of you...
Another Gila Monster already? I don't know if you've ever observed one in 'PO'd mode', but it's mostly a lot of huffing, puffing & gaping. That vice grip like bite they're known for is usually a matter of last resort. Unless Chloe has a tendency to actually 'grab' at snakes & other critters, I wouldn't be too worried about her being bitten should she see one before you do.

Definitely don't want to live in the "house that Bezo's built".... Here in Korea those screws would have been dropped off by a guy on a 49cc scooter 30 minutes after you placed the order with your 6g phone.

My birthday is coming up soon, shall I province you with a mailing address? Just kidding. I've owned a Graco X7 Magnum sprayer and used it extensible to paint our wooden house in Savannah GA. It was awesome. But here we don't have the square footage requiring paint to justify the expense. The exterior and interior walls will not be painted, just wood trim.
