To avoid any misunderstandings, as I mentioned in the video, it's not necessary to tattoo the same spot as frequently on real skin because real skin absorbs the ink more quickly. In this video, the focus is on the technique. Tattooing the same spot so often on real skin would lead to significant overworking, but it doesn't happen as quickly with this artificial skin.
Man those needles feel good to me, it feels like a satisfying stretch on an itch.
As a visual learner this video is the best. You explained everything clearly. What greatly helps is also the lack of BG music so that I can actually hear what the machine is supposed to sound like when in action. Your brothers film making skills truly shine in this vid. Bravo
Awesome, glad you found it helpful
any other tattoo channel recommendations you've come across?
Thank you for you effort, Fani, and thanks to your brother for filming! This video is super well balanced - lack of music, loud and clear speech, close up shoots, lighting!
Man, you and your brother deserve the best of the UA-cam Tattoo Community. Keep up the tutorials.
Thanks a lot for the support! We're passionate about sharing our tattoo knowledge with the community, and we'll definitely keep the tutorials coming. 🙌🔥
More or less everything I know about tattooing, I learned on the internet and by practicing. This is probably one of the best video about shading I’ve seen since I started. And I loved your kind talk and the explanations. 🔥

I don't understand why UA-cam suggested this video, but it was super interesting. Your brother's facial expression as you "convinced" him to help you was priceless! 🤣

Thank u mate and Hi from Rome, italy 💪🏼✍🏼
so out of curiosity is that the correct way to face the mag on the direction you shade?
if you were pushing away, would you have to spin the maching around so the open face of the needles were facing you head on? or does it make a difference
if that makes sense
I am from Brazil! And I just love your videos 🥰👏❤️
Great video, ty. Ed, from Philly just starting my journey

I totally thought you were American. Possibly even from my area in the Pacific Northwest. So cool to find out your from Austria! Love the content dude. These vids are incredible!
From the States and Im located in Michigan thank you for the great content. I'm also a tattoo artist
Cheers I haven’t really played with shading like this but I think I’ll try it for some softer work.. I might just point out a pet peeve when ppl talk about Volts, recommending volts is only good when it’s the same machine! Otherwise machines use different volts depending on company or model 👍
What machine would you recommend for lining and shading? I want to do mostly engraving tattoo with some light shading as well.
Thank you for this video it is very helpful 😊 I'm from Greece 😅
Thanks so much ! This video is so helpful! The explanations and examples are perfect! ⚡️⚡️✨✨✨👌👌👌👌
You're very welcome!
youre awesome man
Hey ! I'm from France, I really understand better with you how to shade properly, I did it and it's way better, I'm a beginner and still learning a lot but didn't get how to shade and now thanks to you I understand thank you !
Glad I could help!
Love your videos, thank you for posting. Question - how do you know if you are overworking the king when you are shading? I see how you are blending the gradient, bit I would worry that I might hamburger the skin by making too many passes over the same area. How do you know when enough is enough and any more will scar or tear the skin up?
as a person who doesnt know anything about tattoo art reading the terms used in this comment was funny as hell
Hi there 😊
I order today my first tattoo machine cz I love tattoos and I would like to learn this art.
I just open UA-cam to found a video about the beginners on shading and I found yours.
How good that you are from Austria and you live in Wien and I'm Greek and I leave in Wienerneustadt 😅

Greetings

man all your tutorial videos are on point! i watched it all! detailed and precise, im a rookie artist but have background on digital arts. want to ask how to pepershade to create that right amount of dark from a ligth shade, example for filling the lips and nose texture specially the chicks, im having a hard time how to apply shades to highlight textures/to show curved/to emphasize the shadow to show texture. appriciate it man if you response. awesome vids. thanks man
