Hy, very nice tutorial. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if LM311 has an open collector output, as a comparator when TP2 (inverted input) > TP3 (non-inverted), the transistor is not suppose to be off and TP4 should remain high?
+Adrian Carstea The LM311 is open collector and conduct when the comparator turns on.
+Lewis Loflin Yes, when TP2 > TP3, the comparator is off, so the transistor is not conducting
